i don't see ray leonard beating floyd...no fighter in history would beat floyd easily...his skillset proves this...bert was way off on his judgement....floyd just may be the most technically sound fighter in boxing history...overall skillset---i don't see ray leonard beating floyd, let alone easily....

I agree wit em. Prime at 147 this would be a toss up fight. Right now with a past prime Shane Mosley, Floyd's a clear favorite...

And he said Carlos Baldomir had a chance against Mayweather on the HBO countdown. That right there makes the guy's credibility look questionable. I didn't download this video but in the past he made a good case of why JMM has a good chance against Floyd. He mentioned JMM's combo punching ability and Floyd's tendancy to lean on the ropes which is a couple of reasons why I'm picking JMM to beat Floyd as well. Bert Sugar was also spot on about the Cotto-Margarito match up in the lead up to it. He viewed Margarito as a bad style for Cotto because Margarito (despite his cheating) is good at throwing uppercuts and Cotto is tailor made for that punch. Mosley does have trouble with pure boxers. That's not a mystery. But his speed and aggressiveness would take Mayweather to places he's never been before. Floyd also doesn't have a height or reach advantage to speak of against Shane to utilize either.

Well that doesn't win fights. Winky stood right in front of Shane and outboxed him. Shane's only 2 inches shorter than Winky and Shane has a longer reach.

Maybe SRL would beat Floyd, and i'm not at all disagreeing with that. But to say easily, is pretty lame. It's hard to beat Floyd convincingly, without controversy, let alone easily. Lol wth? Bert is cool though, he knows his stuff but that was prob to not look like he's on Floyd's nuts since he had already said Floyd beats Sugar Shane.

I would have said the same thing out of respect for Leonard.

I think he'd beat him convincingly but not easily...

BErt tends to be biased towards the older fights and it's very difficult to compete against retired or dead people.
