  • What will Happen to Cotto if he loses?

First off Im a fan of Cottos its not a hate Thread. Even though Im betting on Collety to win Im Still pulling for Cotto. What concerns me is What if Collety comes in and batters Cotto and KOs him badly. Will he be finished? Or will he HE still be a draw?

Cotto could lose a close decision and be fine. Hell he'd likely get a rematch if that happened. But if Clottey owns and/or KO's him, I don't think he can rebound. Doubtful that happens tho.

He won't go easy unless he get caught by some freak punch.

      It will be a war.

Cotto can't lose his power as a draw to be honest.

Some crazy **** would have to happen for it to go down like that.

It would hurt his stock but he'd still top 10 P4P probably...

Kinda depends on how he loses too...if Clottey KOs him then Margarito scripted the blueprint to beat Cotto...minus the plaster if it was there...

Close fight with a split Dec or maybe a debatable UD to Clottey he can bounch back but a ko? i dont think so personally. Im looking forward to see how he is after Margo fight vs a B/A class fighter.

He could always take the hatton route of 'I lost to one of the greats'.

A loss would be pretty devastating to his career at this point, unless it's a fight that could have went either way. Even then it's a bad deal for Cotto losing his last 2 credible fights back-to-back.
