Doesn't matter where it was. The officials clearly weren't sharp enough to catch it when they tried against Mosley. So who is to say they would have caught it against Cotto? Care to point out another fight where Cotto was 100% gased in the 11th and 12th? Plaster makes a hell of a difference my friend. No matter how much you wish it didn't. No matter how much you hate Cotto. It doesn't change the fact that plaster more than likely (we're talking 99% here) changed the course of the fight.

He has a mediocre chin to begin with. He was kinda hurt by Mosley even though Mosley was not really sitting on his punches. He was stunned several times and knocked down by Torres. He was stunned and busted up inside his mouth by a single shot from Judah.

Adding loaded gloves to the mix amplified his chin problems and gave Margarito one hell of an advantage.

Cotto was outboxing Margarito, but everytime Margarito would land a shot it seemed to dent his body and damage his skin in a bizarre way. I'll agree with the experts, that his L shouldn't count.
