at first i was kinda pissed it wasnt for real but it was acctually kinda funny. taking away the buttons was a brilliant move. button mashers will be happy in the long run when they can play a boxing game using skills rather than just pressing buttons randomly like a ******.

I don't care anymore anyways, half the boxers in the game don't even look like their counter-parts in real life. I'm done responding to these topics filled with 12 year old *******s. ****ing little kids I could back-hand and you would be knocked out cold.

The only button mashers that have ever beat me would always go left hook right hook left hook right hook over and over to the head or body the second they had an opening. When button mashers would play legit and not just constantly do the same annoying bull**** over and over I would dominate them. They put time and money into making the game as realistic as possible because its a simulation. The same way I don't like playing people in Madden who do the same corny **** with Michael Vick over and over or bomb it to Terrell Owens every time I don't like playing against unrealistic button mashers. Sure you can raise the whole "well find a way around it arguement" but they only test the games so much before releasing them. Street Fighter IV is one of the few games where when they see its possible to cheat or button mash or get a ridiculous advantage they release an update and remove it from the game switching up the timings on it or making a breaker.

I hope its just that I am not used to the sticks & will get more accurate in time.
So for those of you that say button users/button mashers are randomly pressing buttons I think you are way off. If a player mashes they can do it with buttons or flick the stick randomly there is no diference. Either you know what you are doing or you throw random punches & hope to get lucky. It has nothing to do with the configuration. Both stick users & button users can mash.

It's not "button mashing" that is the issue. I've never been beaten by someone on the other end who I was sure had no idea what they were doing. If you lose to someone button mashing in Fight Night then you have no business playing the game. I'm pretty sure the complaint people are making is the same as the one I made above about people who will throw left hook right hook left hook right hook left hook right hook over and over and over the second they counter you or have an opening.
