Which recent fight deserves to be on HBO legendary nights?

Just to point out, HBO Legendary Nights is a series created to celebrate boxing on HBO, not to celebrate boxing. Vasquez/Marquez was on Showtime.

They also do episodes on fights that were huge events and not necessarily great fights as well, so Floyd/DLH makes sense for the series. They could do a Rahman/Lewis one as well. That is a night no one will ever forget.

Yep Mayweather-De La Hoya should be because of it being the richest fight in boxing history and because it started off 24/7.

Totally forgot that Vasquez-Marquez was on showtime.

Ward Vs gatti 1 (Ward was a HUGE underdog)

Marquez vs. Pacquaio 1 (JMM came back from 3 knockdowns, great fight)

B-hop Vs Pavlik (44 year old man beats young, udefeated KO artist.)

agreed. and i agree with the other guy who said it wasnt really about how great the fight was, i mean they did DLH-Tito and Bowe-Golota.

SSM v Marg. Everybody thought SSM was an old man meetin his maker and he ****ed dude up. Marg had just won everybody's respect and broken into the big time wit his juggernaut rep, but he got owned as exposed as a cheat.
