And for youR 'welterweights fighting welterweights' bull**** that you say, if it were in your hands we'd never had seen Hagler-Hearns, Leonard-Hagler, Duran-Leonard, and countless other fights.

Some of the greatest fights ever have been between guys in 2 different weight classes.
I meant I don't care what Mr boat buyer says about anything other than a fight against 1 of the top 2 WW's. And I completely agree wit the 2nd part of your post homey. Thing is, those weren't catchweight fights. They were legitimate fights where guys moved all the way up into a higher division to face a champion, not this in between catchweight bull****.

I stopped watching after he said he did 1 million buys alone vs. hatton since hatton had never been on ppv.

I guess this means you'll do more than 1 million vs. marquez floyd since marquez HAS been on ppv once before.

          Laughable.

It is laughable that you do not think that Floyd is well known. Let me ask you something how many times a day do you see the Floyd Mayweather AT&T commercial (it is everywhere, and the general public knows little of boxing, so if you ask people to name 1 boxer from today in the US people will say Mayweather most likely because of that commercial). If you want proof, I have talked more about boxing to know nothings (about boxing) then I have since Tyson-Lewis, I thought it was because he was comming back but that made little sence (since I know people don't follow boxing that close) the commercial combined with the comeback though seems to have sparked a lot of interest in him.

This is in Detroit though and Mayweather is pretty well known in these parts~.

Can you please point out where I said Floyd is not well known? Or ever indicated anything close? I'm not argueing mayweather has a name, but if he's going to sit there and say he did 1 million ALONE vs. hatton im sorry but that is ludacrous. All im pointing out is that if that is his logic, he should do 1 million vs. marquez alone, yes or no?

Maybe he does maybe he does not, but saying he will not (an absolute negative) is not different then saying he will (absolute positive). You don't know that, especially considering Floyd's mug is on TV like every 12 minutes now (that is not a small thing for someone that wants to be well known).

Hatton is not a PPV star in the US, how many people knew Hatton in the US before the Mayweather fight that were not boxing fans, Floyd was the A side in that fight (to American's, to people from England Hatton is the A side) it is not as cut and dry as you are making it out but Floyd was the draw to the US part of the audience.

I would guess it will do over 800k, because JMM is just aswell known as Hatton is in the US, actually it will probably do more US buys becuase of Mexican-Americans.l

I have laid out why I think the event will sell, now please tell me why it will fail~.

Floyd was retired when he fought that bum Jennings.

After Cotto's biggest fights he didn't say **** about fighting Floyd...even when ASKED DIRECTLY.

Floyd would slice his ass to ribbons and he knows it..so does Arum.

                    Yeah right..

Floyd wishes he was fighting Clottey on basic cable for peanuts.
