Mosley is the bigger puncher but that doesn't mean Clottey can't knock Cotto out, I don't think Margarito is a bigger puncher than Mosley but he knocked Cotto out. (Su****ions about plaster aside).

While I agree that Clottey is hungry and ready to fight, I also think people are overlooking Cotto's agenda too. It seems as if people are dismissing Cotto simply because he lost 1 fight and in the fashion it happened in. Prior to Cotto's fight with Margarito, many on here didn't even put Cotto and Clottey in the same league and though I think its right that Cotto and Clottey do fight, based on their performances even in the last 2 years, though I think Clottey will give a good fight, Cotto to me is still the better fighter all around and will prove it on Saturday.

Margarito sodomized Cotto on that faithful day on the 26 July 2008. In essence, Cotto is like a **** victim and is still traumatized by what happened to him and could result in him quitting.

        This is my unbiased view
How can you prove Cotto is mentally weak? What signs show you that?

In the Margarito fight. Cotto took the second knee without even being punched.

So how does someone like Clottey who hasn't KOd anyone in years going to have this overwhelming strenghth against Cotto being Cotto took shots from IMO a harder and more consistent puncher?

shane is better puncher than clottey.
but boxing isn't measured punching power.
but just a punching power, shane is better.

You have to be retarted if anyone thinks Clottey hits harder then either SSM or Cotto. Clottley hasn't stopped anyone since 2004 and he only has 2 KO's in his career the rest of his 20 are by TKO which to me seems to say that he accumulates his punches then finishes his opponents. People are being fooled because of his fight with Margarito. He stood his ground but after 6 rounds he basically quit. His hands where not found to be broken, he later admitted that he bend his thumb nail back. Seriously Thumb nail WTF?? People question wether Cotto has heart because he went 11 rounds with Margarito (a focused and motivated Maragrito) but they fail to mention that although Clottey was doing well the first six rounds he wanted to quit around the seventh. Watch the fight he had no intention of fighting after that and even his corner asked him if he wanted to go on. Which he kept replying my hand is paining me. Watched the fight last night and believe me he quit. Cotto won more rounds then Clottey and put up the better effort so lay off of the Cotto quit **** and for you Mexicans that say a true warrior would never quit like Mexicans I got two names for you Morales and Vazquez.

That's not called being mentally weak more than choosing not to take anymore punishment than needed. Its only guys like you who ridicule Cotto for that while the rest of the Boxing world commends him for fighting as long as he did. You may find shame in that, but the majority of people don't.

Again, I don't make the comparison in punching power between Clottey and Mosley being the deciding factor in the fight. The point is that it seems like people believe Cotto will be a sitting duck for Clotteys "accumilation" of punches (which is almost an oxy moron being Clottey doesn't throw at a high volume when his opponent is on the offensive). But Cotto hasn't gotten to where he is by being pampered through his fights, he knows how to battle adversity.

I respect both fighters, but I just think Cotto is better than just letting himself be hit all night which people here believe will happen to him. I don't see that happening.

Shane is arguably the biggest hitter at 147... Clottey, not so much.

Not at all considering the difference in opposition. Clottey has 20 KOs in 38 bouts. Of those 20 KO's, 15 of them came against opponents with less than 2 victories on their records (12 came against opponents with 0 wins).
