It was confirmed that it had plaster elements. He was wearing pads for protection even Shane Mosley himself said he was wearing it for protection. Obviously you've never put gloves on. If you had a piece of plaster between the knuckle and the gauze it would'nt do anything but hurt the **** out of you're own hand. That being said I don't think the thing was hard at all and I don't think it was ever meant to get hard. I fight, You don't so seriously just STFU because you really have no arguement you forum geek.

Thanks for such kind words, this is just a proof of the level of intelligence of the person i'm responding to and although you might want me to curse back at you i'm sorry to dissapoint you but that's not my stlye and it has never been.

If you are a fighter, and i really hope you are a good one and don't cheat,
You know that it's only legal to put in the wraps gauze and tape. Not any other type of material or substance therefor anything else found in the wraps is ilegal and the person is cheating by doing so. What was found inside the wraps of Margarito were additional inserts (beside the gauze and tape) that were supected to be plaster but it was not until the results came back from Laboratory that they confirm it was plaster Mosley and other boxers (Tito Trinidad vs Hopkins) additional pads to protect knuckles are gauze not plaster therefor there was nothing on Mosley's hand that could hurt his oponent but can help him protect his knuckles.
By the way it is obvious that if you put the plaster between the pads and your knuckles it would be obvious that it would hurt you only probably a person with your level of intelligence would probably do that. It would work better if you hide the plaster in the extra gauze pad on the part were it would not be closer to your knuckes but closer to your gloves that way the big part of the gauze pad on your knuckes can protect you from the impact of the plaster.
You also dispute earlier the way the wrapps were handle and you used the excuse to everyone on this forum that they were not there when it happened but once again probably it's because of your level of intelligence that you don't know what actually happened.

So instead of insulting you back like, you might want me to, i'm going to use my level of intelligence and i'm going to copy you the thread when and how the extra "Hard Inserts" were found on the [B]HANDS[/B](PLURAL MEANING BOTH HANDS) and who controlled ordered the wraps to be unwrapped showing that Mosley corners never controlled what ame out of the wraps like you have said on this thread before. But once again this might have been due to you level of not knowing the thruth, will to not want to know the truth or simply you level of intelligence.

I hope that you can be better informed of what actually happen after you read this thread and if not there's more information on what actually happened, that if your level of intelligence doesn't aloow you to get the fact i can probably help you, so you can spend more time in the gym to become a better boxer that i hope you already are. Former three-time welterweight champion Antonio Margarito is not going into details but says that he plans to return to the ring in September. Margarito had his license revoked in February by the California State Athletic Commission during a hearing to rule on whether he attempted to cheat prior to the January 24 bout with Shane Mosley. Two hard inserts were found in Margarito's handwraps. An illegal hard substance was discovered on the inserts. They were later tested and found to contain elements that would make plaster of Paris. Margarito has mantained that he was innocent of the charges and the inserts were placed in his wraps withouth his knowledge - by former trainer Javier Capetillo. [details]

From the get go he claimed he had no idea that his wraps were being temper with in any kind of way. Plus it was his trainer who said he made the mistake, not Tony. Now you would think that Tony knows the difference when somethings being messed with, but maybe he didn't. Maybe he was in on it and maybe he is telling the truth that he didn't have an idea what was going on...I don't think anybody will ever know the exact truth except Tony himself. (IMO) I think he should finish up serving his time and then come back strong.

Marg is a cheater for getting caught with plaster wraps before the mosley fight. but im convinced that wether or not he did it to cotto, cotto still loss because of his mistakes in the ring, and wrong gameplan. cotto has what it takes to beat marg he's the superior boxer. but if he's gona move backwards instead of side to side, laterally, stay on the ropes too long and not clinch when needed, he will lose. i do think the plaster was there because of the damage marg did to cotto but if cotto had the right gameplan and didnt make the mistakes he made, he still would of won a decision.

Cotto (IMO) fought a good fight against Margarito. He just didn't have enough staminia to keep up with Margaritos work load. From round 2 to the 11th Margarito was all over him smoothering him trough out the fight. Even so, Cotto was still catching Margarito with clean crisps shots and it just wasn't phasing Margarito. Margarito took Cotts's absolute best, and just walked right through him like machine. To be honest though that was a close fight either way, but Margarito was winning everything in the late rounds, so even if Cotto would have had the staminia to keep up he still may have lost. Considering the pressure that Margarito put him through he fought a good defensive fight. Especially for being the smaller guy. I think he can definitly improve on what he did in the first fight... A rematch would definitly be inertesting. I hope it happens.

Hand wraps or not; you still have to hit the other man in the ring, i am not making excuses for margrito i agree with everything that is going to happen or already did. Why for gods sake doesnt anyone relize mosley is a substance user. balco and steroids, and the EPO. enhances oxygen in the blood stream to provide oneself with prolonged endurance. in the margrito fight he never seemed to get tired where in his other fights he never once was a non stop punching machine. watch the fight he might have cheated as well as margrito. take mosleys name off the elite list. Manny isnt going to move in to the welterweight divison and start challanging, he is going to hand pick paydays and style. paul williams, margrito even coto arent in mannys scope. everyone have a good day, your boxing student ~ Richard
