the problem here is you forget he didnt cheat and his hands every fighters wraps are checked before the fight,so to condemn margarito for a wrap that was wrong, and him not even use it doesnt constitute a cheater,plus what they found is questionable at best,resto is a cheater he used loaded gloves which came to light after the fact , this is not the same situation at all, people dont even have their facts straights and they act as if it was set in stone,face it marg will fight again win or lose that shouldnt terrify people if he keeps on winning how ****** is every one whom accused him a cheater going to look? very ******, and very racially motivated and not very independent thinking either

The material found dropped directly from his wraps while unwrapping his hand and it was not only on one gloves it was on both. Tha material was sent to laboratory and it was confirmed as plaster. what's questionable about that

2nd) Yes the Wraps are checked before the fight.
But in this case, it was not noted by the inspector because it was hidden between the gauzes and only popped out while unwrapping them. Clever but ilegal.

3rd) Yes Margarito Cheated.
The act itself of illegaly wrapping his hands, to try to take advantage of his oponent by hurting him more that he's capable of, is just plain cheating. Doesn matter how you look at it whether, he did or didn't get to use it on the ring, the act itself of wrapping his gloves is only done buy a cheater. Especially if there's a precedent like Restos and the damaged that's known it can do.

Agreed. However, I am torn between the sweet revenge that Cotto could exact from that cheating piece of garbage and not allowing that charlatan the opportunity to make money or redeem himself. He could have killed someone with that illegal plaster, indeed warriors have died without the other fighter cheeting, and he thinks he deserves a second chance?

I am of the opinion that people deserve a chance to redeem themselves and to atone for their transgressions, but this does not fall into that category. Boxing for fame and glory and wealth is as much a privelege as a right. He has the right to try, but the promoters do not have the obligation to forward his requests to audiences and I feel that if due process were carried out he should have been indicted with criminal charges. This is a disgusting spectacle and wholly unworthy of the sport of boxing. He should fade into obscurity and pray for the forgiveness of God and all the people he hurt. Piece of GARBAGE!!!

well marg was doing very well against williams at the end of that fight, but williams is very difficult ,no big reward and as good as he is no one cares hes just not exciting to watch, NOBODY WANTs WILLIAMS,at least marg faced him and finished very strong against him.lets see mosley do that now or a the top welters dont see anyone jumping at the chance of that fight

It was confirmed that it had plaster elements. He was wearing pads for protection even Shane Mosley himself said he was wearing it for protection. Obviously you've never put gloves on. If you had a piece of plaster between the knuckle and the gauze it would'nt do anything but hurt the **** out of you're own hand. That being said I don't think the thing was hard at all and I don't think it was ever meant to get hard. I fight, You don't so seriously just STFU because you really have no arguement you forum geek.
