He hasn't looked as sharp for a little while now.
I guess I am guilty of comparing all his fights to how he fought Rocky Juarez.

I admit that Francisco Lorenzo rematch was entertaining. Lorenzo gotta be one of the dirtiest guys in boxing.

I thought Gaudet fought pretty well until Soto put him to sleep. Seems like Soto got hit a little too much in that fight as well

Soto is a good fighter but his weakness is a good boxer. Jorge Linares would easily outbox the guy. ****, Joan Guzman's little brother (Jose Guzman) would probably beat him also. Reason why I'd pick Soto over Valero is because of their style, I think Soto can take alot more damage then Valero.

Soto would have to be willing to move five pounds up in weight though, which I'm sure he is willing to.
Moving up for Soto wouldn't be a probably, I mean the guy is a huge SFW and I agree, Soto would be a much tougher opponent then Prescott.

I don't know if Soto would've beaten Pacquiao, but it's too bad that we didn't see the fight happen. I believe Manny would have beaten him more than likely, but he would have been a more competitive opponent than a past it Barrera or a weight drained Oscar. The Pac tards were ****ting their pants it seemed like at the mere thought of Manny having to tangle with La Zorrita. Soto would have gotten that fight on two occasions but Pac chose to fight Barrera and De La Hoya as I mentioned above. But back to Valero. He has looked vulnerable when he stepped up against Mosquero. He got dropped in that fight, and got hit a lot as well.

                Valero has knocked out everyone.

He knocked the guy out that ko'ed Santa Cruz in 2 (the guy that got robbed against Casamayor)

Almost three years ago he had a war with Mosquera and was dropped once in the third, but knocked Mosquera down three times.

He will get fights I am sure.

I know Guzman was a bad style match up for Soto with his herky jerky style, but I need to see Linares do something noteworthy before I heap praise on him like a lot of other people are doing. His best win is over a shot Oscar Larios.
