They are passing because they've been burnt repeatedly over Wlad's awful fights that no one in the US cares about.

The only fight worth watching involving Wladmir will be one where his opponent takes the fight to him. Haye was one of those fighters. A Shannon Briggs in good shape would be another.

Ever hear the phrase "don't throw good money after bad". Pretty much what every writer bitches about HBO overpaying for ****ty fights, is what HBO is not doing here (overpaying for a fight they view as not worth it).

You should be happy, HBO can put on a lot better fights down the road because they passed on this fight(I assume they pay Wlad atleast a couple million for this rights that is enough money to put on several cards), since the fight more then likely will get shown in the US anyways.

Because Ross Greenburg is a prick.

Neither Haye nor Chagaev are well-known in the US, but Chagaev is the far more accomplished heavyweight and this fight is for the coveted Ring Title.

People know who David Haye is (in the US)?
