Yeah, I still miss the fight when Frazier went through Foreman like a bullet.

What's next? Claiming that Joe Louis had a chance against Wladimir Klitschko? Wake up.

Frazier is completely overrated. That Ali had so much trouble with Frazier (see my sig) just shows you what a limited fighter Ali was.

    • Would either of the Klitschko's be able to land on Ali?
At his best his reflexes were amazingly fast. His footwork and hand speed were also very fast.
He could go 15 rounds no problem.

Louis may have had problems because of his size, and maybe his chin, but he was one of the most devastating finishers ever. Very accurate, very economic. His combinations could bust up most heavyweights, 200+ or not.

      • i dunno what all this rabbiting is about, Haye pulled out because he was not going to get paid for the fight, Setanta are about to go under here in the UK (who would hav provided Haye the majority of his pay packet) unless they come up with about £30 Million in next few days from investors to pay other contractual obligations for English football, does not luck likely as to even break even then need another 40% more subscribers

They were not. He got hit by everything in the book even the slowest punches. I never saw anyone eating so many punches like Ali. No wonder he got Parkinson.

Fast featherfisted hands are just that: Fast featherfisted hands. Chris Byrd had also fast hands and a higher KOratio than Ali against 200+ opponents. Didn't save him much.

In his entire career Ali didn't go even 1 round against someone like Vitali Klitschko or Lennox Lewis. That he could go 15 rounds against some tiny featherfists like Frazier is irrelevant.

            No...

He pulled out because of a back injury.

            • joe louis wouldve knocked wlad senseless. vitali wouldve beaten him though. ali wouldve beaten both wlad and vitali. vitali by decision or on cuts.. wlad by a late stoppage.

His contract was exclusively with Setanta, with Administrators on the brink of being called in he chances of getting his contracted money would be very slim if at all when theres no money, RTL in Germany could, and have sold Wlad agaist bums and made millions, the opponent means nothing to them hence why they did'nt need to wait for Haye to be fit for a month, HBO paid penuts for the fight as not major draw over there at 4.45pm in afternoon, the majority of Haye's money was coming exclusivity from Setanta.

This was for a heavy world weight title fight, normally you would need independent verification of the injury, which has not happened, pulling out of a fight for 'bad back' two days before Setanta news of a imminent collapse was got hold by major media is just what boxing has become about. Hayemaker will be back on Sky soon, and Ricky Hatton was clever not to make same mistake as haye with Hatton Productions.

                  Meditate over this pic...

... and tell me the masterplan how Joe Louis is going to beat a Klitschko.

The last time I checked Louis was KOed by another cruiser (Max Schmeling).

Louis beating Klitschko is the mother of all delusions. Only topped by the statement that Marciano could beat any modern heavyweight.

Leave those ATGs alone. They were great in their times but they have no chance against any of the better modern heavies.

Any remaining vestiges of credibility you might have had ended right there.

The Haye money was ring-fenced, and the article you linked to doesn't even mention Haye. Haye's injury has to be independently verified by the British Boxing Board of Control. And if the reason you gave was valid, Haye would have had nothing to lose and everything to gain by being honest about the reason. You're a complete idiot, and a conspiracy theorist. You'll be claiming that the US Government organised 9/11 next.
