But when he pulled out, and then said he's be ready for July 11, that didn't make sense. And as it turned out, Haye was lying and would have pulled out again.

    The man is completely untrustworthy.
The way I understand it, Haye was hoping to be able to fight on the 11th. However, just today his doctor made the prognosis that he should not box before July 25th. At this time, the final decision to select Chagaev as the opponent was made.

A big part of why some people don't like the Klitschkos is the negativity from American commentators like Atlas and Kellerman, and boxing writers like Raskin and Rosenthal.

That negativity especially has an influence on how younger fans feel about them.

You act like young kids read and listen. They could care less about analysis, what they care about is excitement, something the brothers lack, and always will.

No, he saw his doctors on Wednesday, then went on Bunce's show Thursday and said he wanted to fight Wlad on July 11.

But Wlad's team were wise enough to be sure they checked with the doctors before rescheduling, and so today they were told Haye would not be ready until July 25 at the earliest.

What a young person will hear is the negative stuff, without checking the details or questioning the truthfulness of the comments.

A young person will be less likely to pick up on the commentators' bias. Most kids are easily influenced.

They'll hear "Wlad is not exciting" and never question why Teddy Atlas is saying it.

If Haye is serious about fighting Wlad he should fight Arreola, Johnson, or even Povetkin in the mean time while Wlad fights Chagaev for the LINEAL championship. A fight like that will actually gauge if Haye is ready for Wlad beacuse a fight with Barrett is not worthy set up.

True, but I don't think Haye will take the chance of fighting a top ten heavyweight.

thats bull, kids all over heard alot of negative stuff about tyson, how hes a rapist, hes crazy, this and that, yet he was a legend and everyone wanted to see him in that ring. If the brothers were exciting, not methodical and threw more than 2 types of punches and didint look like they win just because they are bigger than everyone people would be more interested, they dominate, they are effective, but its not fun to watch, even "mr boat buyer" when he wants to, can throw every punch in the book and make it look interesting. Pac throws constant combinations with devastating effect, Juan Manuel lopez is another one who sit in front of you, covers up and unleashes a barrage of feirce punches, thats why we watch them, and not these robotic boring heavyweights who put me to sleep.

Atlas trained the most exciting Heavyweight champ ever{Tyson} what do you expect him to say about Wlad?

I see, thanks for clarifying. If that's the case, it sounds pretty damn disingenuous on the part of Haye and company.
