That negativity especially has an influence on how younger fans feel about them.

Originally posted by Organik View PostThe way I understand it, Haye was hoping to be able to fight on the 11th. However, just today his doctor made the prognosis that he should not box before July 25th. At this time, the final decision to select Chagaev as the opponent was made.
But Wlad's team were wise enough to be sure they checked with the doctors before rescheduling, and so today they were told Haye would not be ready until July 25 at the earliest.

A young person will be less likely to pick up on the commentators' bias. Most kids are easily influenced.
They'll hear "Wlad is not exciting" and never question why Teddy Atlas is saying it.

If Haye is serious about fighting Wlad he should fight Arreola, Johnson, or even Povetkin in the mean time while Wlad fights Chagaev for the LINEAL championship. A fight like that will actually gauge if Haye is ready for Wlad beacuse a fight with Barrett is not worthy set up.
