Mosley trusted the people around him and unfortunatly got caught playing with fire. Shane even contacted the nevada state athletic commision prior to linking up with his new strength trainer to make sure what he was taking was legal. It seems to me like he put his trust in the wrong people and unfortunatly he got burned. He came out and admitted to what happened, and im sure he has been tested like crazy ever since. The type of pressure that is on these world class atheletes to stay competing at a top level is unbelievable and I honestly believe shane mosley when he says he was unknowingly pushed into taking these drugs.

No matter how you look at the situation, it happened, and Mosley has done nothing but move forward ever since. Many athletes now a days get caught up in steroid scandals and there careers go into a serious decline. Shane has done just the opposite with his career, he got back to the top through hardwork and is now the #1 welterweight in the world. You cant take anything away from him.

He's made the worst business decisions of any elite fighter arguably in the last 10 years when it has comes to his career. Whether it be turning his boss down in a third fight for $10 million after beating him twice, going to fight Winky Wright in back-to-back fights for a little over $5 million or having an opportunity to fight Floyd in November 2006 for a career payday, $8 million, but instead he chose to get dental work done and take a family vacation after coming off a tremendous performance in the Vargas fight. Just a couple years ago after losing to Winky twice, he was fighting on an ESPN undercard and from there, an HBO undercard fight on Barrera's show. These are just a few examples of why he is very bitter and jealous of Floyd.

Im not rich, but i ain't broke. I got a little. Ive turn down a 6000.00 dollar job before because it wasnt worth my time. Why? Because it wasnt gonna hurt me either way. Id make more somewhere else. Somebody else can have the job may need it more than me.
POINT: Its the same concept with MULTI Millionaires. Its easy to look at 8 or 10 mill and think who the hell in there right mind wold turn down that. Someone who can....CAN! I dont know personaly what its like to live like a millionaire but i work and rub elbows with them a lot. Its another life.
