Floyd is in a no win situation no matter who he fights.
Anybody who he fights can be discredited unless they beat the **** out of floyd and floyd barley wins...

People just want too see Floyd lose or barley win. PERIOD

      Like I said before

      1. People Complaining about Size Are Clueless and just want to make excuses.

      2. People who want to act like this is the first time a little guy has fought a big guy just expose themselves to criticism that they dont know boxing history.
      1. People act Like Sugar ray Robinson never fought henry armstrong.
      2. People act Like SRL never foguht duran
      3. People act Like Hagler never fought SRL
      4. People act Like Joe Louis never Fought Billy Conn
      5. People act Like Bernard Hopkins never Fought de la hoya
      6. People act Like Aaron Pryor never fought Alexis Arguello

Do you guys know any history?

Oh my bad you guys are so called "HARDCORE" boxing fansBut yet dont know any of boxing's History.

      Like I posted Before

I mean Floyd is always in a no win situation. I dont blame floyd for taking the mic from MAX I would be snapping too If I had boxing skills that was superior and was always overshadowed by fighters with half the skill or fighters who liked to take endless amounts of punishment just to please the fans.

Why bleed and cut it you don't have too?

I don't blame Floyd for not wanting to be punch drunk.

Could you imagine someone like MJ dumbing down his skill level to make a bball game closer so people can see a more competitive game

or Jerry Rice purposely dropping passes so football fans can see how he struggles under pressure.

Alot of "so-called" boxing fans are always trying to force Floyd and other fighters that practice the sweet science to abandon their defense n put there chin in the air for there enjoyment.

Athletes being asked to be less athletic, never thought I'd see the day.

AS FOR MOSLEY **** HIM !!!

I really hope AND PRAY FLOYD brushes Mosley off like Mosley did to him.

Mosley can say whatever he wants to the mainstream public but true boxing fans know what it is; he is at the end of his career and he needs Mayweather to make the kind of payday he has craved his entire career only problem is where was Mosley when Mayweather and himself were young and Floyd wanted that same chance?

But now its ok to call a guy out and spread lies to the public and tell which bits and pieces of the truth that you feel necessary to make a fight happen.

        • Horus, fans just want to see competitive fights where someone has a realistic chance to win against him. I know this was a tuneup and really a showcase for Floyd to prove that his skills and speed are as sharp as ever but nothing more no great win because JMM was he supposed to lose here. With SSM it is a different story because Floyd has no decisive advantage in this situation. If that fights happens and Floyd wins he deserves all of the credit in the world.

            competitive fights?
Floyd is tryng to give us competitive fights..but his opponents dont have the skill to make it competitive...
including the #2 p4p in the world

Who fault is it that Maquez chose not to do what he said he was going to do. WHICH WAS FIGHT BALLS OUT AND THROW 5 AND 6 PUNCH COMBINATIONS.

Marquez could have made this fight competitive by being a warrior and selling out like casitillo and chavez did..

But he didnt... and tryed to box and got outclassed

I have no doubt that Floyd most likely would have beaten JMM if they were the same size but no WW version of JMM exists. He was overmatched in every way especially size. We have these weight classes in place for good reason and those reasons were never more obvious last night. There was nothing JMM could have done, because it was a total mismatch and a showcase kind of like Andre Ward vs whoever he fought last week. that is the reality of what took place.

I still can't understand why you wouldn't want to see Floyd fight SSM, forget the money issue and who deserves what. I don't see any of that money and neither do you, As a fan it sounds like a great fight and I hope it happens

                    Read this:

                    Ten Years of Ducking

It is worth remembering the interminable delays Mosley caused for Mayweather on at least two occasions earlier in their careers, when the fight made all kinds of sense, only for Mosley to shy away.
Ten years ago, when a fight between them would have matched two of the brilliant, rising stars in the sport, Mosley balked. He and his father and then-trainer, Jack, were at Van Andel Arena the night Mayweather brought Grand Rapids its first championship fight, after which Jack Mosley was asked to assess his interest in the matchup.

For $10 million, his son would take the fight, Jack Mosley said, knowing that Mayweather had earned a $150,000 base purse for that night's lackluster decision over Carlos Rios, and that Mayweather-Mosley wasn't worth eight figures even if the purses were combined, then multiplied by two.

They traveled divergent paths for years thereafter. Mosley moved up to welterweight and defeated De La Hoya, only to lose twice to Vernon Forrest. Another win over De La Hoya boosted him again, only to fall victim to a pair of losses to Ronald "Winky" Wright.

It took until mid-2006, after Mosley scored consecutive knockouts over Fernando Vargas, before Mayweather-Mosley made sense again.

Mosley decided to take a vacation instead, leaving Mayweather to fight Carlos Baldomir.

So what would encourage Mayweather, whose eye is on bigger prizes against other marquee opponents, to agree to such a fight now that it benefits Mosley?

                    Probably nothing.

                    As it Goes:
Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez
                    Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao
                    Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto

By that time it will be 2011...
and Shane will be too old..
                    and fighters like
Timothy Bradley, Victor Ortiz, and Andre Berto will be more appealing fights than a fight with a old ass mosley.

Mosley should have taken the fight in 2006, 2005,2004, and 1999

Now it is too late and Floyd shouldnt have to turn down more lucrative fights
just to appease an old money hungry needing mosley.

If Mosley Really wanted to fight Floyd he should have did it years ago when he was in his prime and on the up side of his career.

from 1999-2006 Mosley Brush Floyd off...
Now it is 2009 he is desperate and out of his prime and now he is calling floyd's name.
