i think Floyd at first wasn't gonna have a tune up and was planning to go straight to Manny ala Leonard to Hagler.

I got no beef with Manny. He would have been a heavy favorite
sure, but he didn't even fight a credible opponent there so when
I hear people trying to down play PBF who had 130/135 on smash,
to me, it just ain't right.

He crushed one of the champs, Diaz at 130 and stomped Oscar who I believe wanted Manny. You can't blame him for fighting BIGGER guys.

I give Money cred for doing the same years ago but now he is using money as an excuse to hide his fear. I don't hate on BHOP for fighting Pavlik because he was a younger guy who was undefeated so that was a trade off for the weight difference. Floyd, on the other hand is fast losing respect in the mainstream because it is so obvious that he is scared of tough competition.

Uh, no....he had already planned to fight JMM before Pac fought Hatton. The fight was signed and sealed and only announced the morning of the Hatton/Pac fight to steal the show. He could have waited until after the Hatton/Pac fight to consider his options. He claims since JMM called him out weeks before the Hatton/Pac fight, that's why he chose to fight him.

another bull**** from the mayweather camp..as i recall, rumors of mayweather training again and making a possible comeback, to possibly fight pacquiao...marquez who has been trying to get a third fight with pacquiao (which in my opinion) thought that he can block the fight between pacquiao/mayweather and get pacquiao's attention by challenging mayweather. Bottomline is both this fighter need pacquiao more than pacquiao needs them. People can say that marquez beat pacquiao, but in history we're gonna remember how pacquiao knock his a$$ down four times. Now as far as mayweather beating both dlh and hatton, pacquiao's destruction of both dlh and hatton is far more impressive than mayweather's wins on both dlh and hatton. With that said, both of this guys in my opinion (and i know alot of people will agree with me) that these two as of right now is overshadowed by pacquiao's accomplishments..so they need pacquiao, more than pacquiao needs them.

Well I agree with one thing Floyd's adviser and close friend said "he has something to prove" as one of the reasons he is coming back, so hopefully he won't just be in fights where he has all the advantages.

I'm not going to answer that because it's talk, that's all Floyd apologists have is talk, they have no action since 135. Besides a few nitpicky things like not fighting Freitas (who he would have likely blown out) Stevie Johnson (who may or may not have really wanted it) and Casa (who definitely wanted it but was prob to little risk/reward), no one can say "boo" to his credentials at those weights.

Also, why would I believe that talk when he says **** like "Shane Mosley with 5 losses" When he fought Baldo with 9 losses. There are countless "inconsistencies" with Floyd, so why should I believe him when ha calls someone out. I could put 20 links on here when he contradicted himself.
