So the fact that Floyd fought a much bigger Oscar at his comfortable
weight and won a title at 154 is impressive considering Floyd agree to
every advantage Oscar wanted, including the gloves and Oscar still
    lost.
Why are you ****ting on Shane's win in 2000, sure it was close, but floyd's win 7 years and a couple of losses (including getting stretched brutally by bhop) later was a split decision in a boring ass fight. Oscar v Shane 1 was a very hard fought excellent boxing match.

I'm trying to understand how impressive you think it was. Is it just the weightt? What about Oscar's age and most recent performances? Should that be factored in? I don't here you mentioning those things.

For example, I think floyd's best win since Castillo 2 was the Hatton fight. Now granted, Hatton is going to go down as having been overrated, but it was a dominant performance from Floyd (all that ref complaining is a bunch of bs from haters). Hatton was the recognized 140lb champ stepping up to 147. That was a strong win, weight and past performance issues aside. Oscar was a bit of a joke imo, especially in the pac fight.

what do you think is floyd's best win since castillo 2?

so it was after. its not like floyd put it on oscar so bad that he altered his boxing career. that's the kind of fighter oscar was at the time, slightly above average.

Because Arum couldn’t get him the Oscar fight and Margarito win on to get schooled by Paul Williams. Floyd was willingly to fight Plaster Boy until Arum said no deal for Hatton/Cotto/Oscar fights which Floyd wanted.

He fought Baldomir for more money and for a better title. Also Baldomir had better wins at the stage

              • Another bull**** from the Mayweather camp..As I recall, rumors of Mayweather training again and making a possible comeback, to possibly fight PACQUIAO...Marquez who has been trying to get a third fight with PACQUIAO (which in my opinion) thought that he can block the fight between PACQUIAO/MAYWEATHER and get PACQUIAO's attention by challenging Mayweather. Bottomline is both this fighter need PACQUIAO more than Pacquiao needs them. People can say that Marquez beat PACQUIAO, but in history we're gonna remember how PACQUIAO Knock his a$$ down four times. Now as far as Mayweather beating both DLH AND HATTON, PACQUIAO's destruction of both DLH AND HATTON is far more impressive than Mayweather's wins on both DLH AND HATTON. With that said, both of this guys in my opinion (and i know alot of people will agree with me) that these two as of right now is overshadowed by PACQUIAO'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS..So they need PACQUIAO, more than Pacquiao needs them.

Learn your facts before you try to discredit someone
                    150 is still JMW.

Point is still the same, Oscar was no longer a threat.
