I wouldn't say by FAR, but he's bigger and stronger than JMM and so he has more options.

he ducked the best guys in his division, can the same be said about
Pacquiao at 135/140 like it has been said about Floyd at 147?

i've been reading a lot from so many boxing scribes, critiques, historians and wanna bes.
sorry to tell you that majority of them thinks disparagingly 'bout floyd.
some quotes here:
- Mayweather harps on his undefeated record because he knows his opposition level is lacking.
- Mayweather wins has not been as dominant. Fights with De La Hoya, Victoriano Sosa, the second with Castillo, and Zab Judah were close competitive matches where Mayweather absolutely did not win with ease
- Pacquiao does not need Mayweather anymore than Mayweather needs Pacquiao.
- Mayweather does need to do more if he wants historians to confirm that he was as great as he thinks he is.
