Briggs is one of the very few guys with the tools needed to beat that robot, and he's thrown it away by not training hard enough and being far too big.

I was in the stands when Sultan Ibragimov won every round against Briggs.

Shannon could fight 100 rounds with Wlad and never land a punch

I want to see this fight badly.I hope the article headline doesn't mean the fight's off altogether for July.I hope Wlad waits but at the end of the day if he walks away I can't really criticise. If he wants to beat Haye that badly he should wait but the way I see it he's earned himself a bit of leaway if he wants it because he's the champ. He can walk and hope somebody beats Haye first.

Hope it still happens in July if not i would be happy to see Haye vs Vitali in the next few months or so, If the WBC allow it or he drops the belt.

Personally..I think Haye got cold feet..and spooked!..Klitschko was looking INTENSE!..and Haye might've realized that he wasn't ready..and definitely not ready to get his mouth SHUT after all that **** talking he did..
I dont think some of you people realise what a back injury is. If you tear a muscle in your back it puts pressure on those nerves and lower region muscles not fit to carry that kind of weight. This aint no torn bicep or broken hand, theres a great chance at permanent damage when forcing an injury like this. I thought Haye was going into this fight a bit to early to begin with, if he were to go through anyway this would probably end up being a NC or TKO for Wlad if it went past four.

If Haye got cold feet why would he desperately try to make it happen at a later date? Dont you think Wlad would be more determined to punish him, and wouldnt Wlad be even better prepared for this fight if it happened 3 weeks later?

I agree 100% with the article, Haye has missed the boat and needs to go away and prove he's worth another shot at either K brother.

Chagaev is better than Haye. He has 3 wins over bona fide Ring top-ten ranked heavyweights: Ruiz, Virchis, and Valuev.

He's never been down, Haye went down from supermiddleweight Mock.

HBO has turned down the July 11 date, and even Setanta cannot secure it.
