Yeah it's a great accomplishment by Pac but he made $40 million over the last year and he had 4 fights in that span. Floyd made $50 million for his 2 fights in 2007, and 2 of the opponents were the same so that should answer the question. Pac may have more saved, who knows. Plus I think Floyd earned at least 3-4 mil for WWE (no, it wasn't really 20 mill) and the whole DWTS thing. He made a hell of a lot of money in 2007 but for a boxer, especially one who is not ODLH, $40 million is a great number.
When is Floyd going to be on this list? I thought he was the most popular. LOL

This list was prepared before the Ricky Hatton fight and those earnings were for the DelaHoya fight only.He then went on to make more money in the Ricky Hatton fight,Dancing with the star and promoted Beyonce's worldwide tour.He also got paid for 24/7 and he was 3rd best paid athlete. At that time Manny was still fighting for $1m.Mayweather has been fighting for $7m and above since after Shamba Mitchell's fight.Comment

Floyd was on that list of Forbes when he was active...not that it matters much but he earned $50 mill in 2 fights whilst Pacquiao earned $40 mill in one year (3-4 fights).
And their split should be either based on their pay-per-views against common opponents or 50/50 split.
Their third common opponent will be Marquez.Last edited by Parody; 06-04-2009, 05:30 PM.Comment
