Mosley is/was a terrific fighter, however it's amazing how much of a pass he gets for juicing because he's known as a nice guy.
Imagine how much flack a Mayweather or De La Hoya would get if they admitted to "unknowingly" injecting himself in the stomach with EPO, and taking steroids as well. People would laugh their asses off at that sort of excuse. But with Mosley it's "oh he's such a nice guy, he's telling the truth".
Hell, people tell me Luis Resto is a nice guy too.
After being very gracious following the close decision loss to Cotto, I read numerous threads on forums talking about "Mosley is such an honor to the sport, he's such a gracious sportsman, etc.." It was only a couple months before that when Mosley admitted to "unknowingly" taking PEDs. It was only 3 years before (ancient history to the average boxing fan) when he was talking about "I had Winky holding on for dear life, I won the fight" and a couple years before that when he claimed Forrest mastered the art of the headbutt in Georgia training camps with Evander Holyfield (another "I didn't know what I was taking" PED user).
Boxing fans have about as good memories as Guy Pearce in Memento.Comment

Everyone has a right to their opinion so no, a poster can't be a disgrace to any forum. I do think however that many posters act in a disgraceful manner by not being objective and continually making ludicris excuses to serve a certain agenda. Everybody has been guilty of this at one time or another, but over and over? Come on now.Comment

Well i dont exactly know why a boxer would take steroids.. it doesn't help them (imo). I dont know the full detail behind it or not but its not up there with Plastering your hands inorder so you can crack a tough chin like Mosleys.Comment

Steroids helps you recover quicker from workouts. You workout harder and longer, well you can get stronger, sharper, improve muscle memory, etc..
Plus, it wasn't only steroids. He also took EPO, which has been described by Margaret Goodman as "a perfect" performance enhancing drug for boxing.Comment
