Never said Shane was one of my favorites. But he has been fighting tough comp a 147 and has earned the right to a mega pay day. Floyd on the other hand hasn't and wasn't fighting top welters, yet always expects top dollar. Like I said, exceptions should be made for guys who stick their neck out and fight the toughest fights. They shouldn't be made because some prima donna doesn't THINK this one or that one are not worthy. Sad if you can't understand that.

I dont agree with the fight. Shane is too big for Manny. Although his age and having to make 144 makes it interesting. Plus Manny has fought at 140 and 147 before unlike Marquez. He is also younger than Marquez and has the style to move through the weights better it seems.

I would still rather Shane fight Williams or another welter. BUT........Shane fought Cotto AND Margarito at their peaks at 147.

Mosley has done more but his wins are all questionable because he is a known drug cheat. He could have used it in the first Oscar fight.
