    Shane fights at 147.
    Pac fights at 140.
143-144 is the middle ground, hence the catch weight.
Exactly, he already fought at 147 and I thought he did great regardless of what DLH came out, so why not fight Shane at 147.

This has nothing to do with ODLH or Shane, because Manny has already proven that he can fight at 147, so why not fight Shane at 147?

He actually weighed in at 143 against Oscar and that was supposed to be a one time thing.

And as I mentioned, both fighters are in two different weight classes. Pacman will go up four pounds to fight Shane and Shane will go down three pounds. That's completely fair.

I love the fact that Manny is actually fighting Shane. At any weight! As long as one doesn't gain an advantage because of the weight. I think in this case, one is. I don't like the fact that it is made just to accomodate one fighter and possibly give him an advantage. We already know how great Manny looked at 140-143, while we have no idea how Shane will look at 144, who by the way is already 37 and who hasn't fought below 147 in ages. How will he look at 144 at this stage of his career and how is this fair for both fighters? It seems they are only levelling the field for Manny and not for Shane?

BTW, why isn't Shane fighting PWILL or Cotto at WW?

So why a catchweight fight with Shane?

Manny is a great fighter and I wouldn't bet against him at 147 against Shane.
            because:

            - 147 lbs was a catchweight for dlh/pac. dlh came down from 154 lbs and pac came up from 135 lbs.

            - it was a one time deal

            - pac officially weighed 142 lbs for dlh/pac

for these reasons, its necessary for mosley to fight at a catchweight of 143-142 lbs to make the fight fair, (ie. level the playing field).

Because roach and pac are punks...they would ask a a gut like oscar to come down to 147 after 12 years away from ww...........

              That win was a fluke......

EVERY other WW beats his ass...thats why they are trying to drain them.

Cant wait to Floyd puts an end to his ass.
