This time it's an outdoor stadium with a larger seating capacity. If Haye fell through, they were going to have a fight there with Dimitrenko.

A tiny percentage of people in the UK tune in to watch David Haye's fights. A MUCH, MUCH larger percentage of people in Germany (and elsewhere) tune in to Wlad's fights. Most people outside the UK have never heard of Haye.

Haye is VERY lucky, he will become better known now, fighting a genuine European star heavyweight.
arent wlad's fights on free tv that everyone in germany gets? thats a pretty big factor in tv audiances!! if u dont have satelite tv you've gt the choice of a wlad fight, or someone singing david hasslehoff on pop idol ffs.

Great. I wont have to wait for what might possibly be a very boring fight. Btw I got Wlad by humiliation.

You talk so much ****, I'm surprised you get any words out. I dispute that the rest of the World hasn't heard of Haye, and I'd add that most of the US ratings will probably come as a result of Haye. Ask most Americans on this forum. Got a source for your Dimitrenko claim?

Dimitrenko, Arreola and Chambers were considered. Whan the Wlad-Haye talks broke down, there was also consideration given to fighting Arreola in an outdoor stadium in California.

There were articles right here on boxingscene where it was discussed. I can't believe you missed that, I'm not wasting any more time looking it up for you when you can easily find it on your own.

Cop out. I'm not doing your research for you. It's up to you to back up your claims. I don't read every topic on Boxing Scene, do I must have missed it. Humour me.

I note that you've already backtracked by changing your argument to include Arreola and Chambers, which I could believe a lot more - not that I will until I see that source.

You should have put a 'No, I don't like boring fighters' option.

All the options supplied are ones that make Wlad look good or the vote a Haye nuthugger.

Will people say it was only because of his size (Wlad is really no taller than Lewis, according to his website he's 6'5", and Wlad has a shorter reach than Lennox, 81" to Lennox's 84")?

Or will the Haye fans be fair to Wlad?
You poll is biased because you think people don't like Wlad because he is a white fighter from eastern europe....Fact is I resepct him whether he wins or loses because he is a good fighter that being said so is Winky Wright but I rather watch the grass grow in my yard then watch Winky fight most of his opponents......Lefty

I already have a ton of respect for Wlad.

He is a very good boxer and is a nice guy.

If he beats Haye which wouldn't surprise me i will give him full credit.
