Double standards. Why did Lennox never take any flak for being a big man?

      Lennox reach: 84"
      Tyson reach: 71"
      Tua reach: 70"

      Wlad's reach: 81"
      Haye's reach:79"

Wlad: 6'5" according to his website, 2" shorter than Vitali at 6'7"
      Haye: 6'3"

      Lennox: 6'5"
      Tyson: 5'10"
      Tua: 5'10"

There was a far greater size difference between Lewis and his opponents Tua and Tyson, yet we never heard about it. His biggest win was over a former cruiserweight Holyfield, yet people never said much about it.

They'd make an excuse like Wlad was ill....

Honestly, i'll respect him for the win. I'm not going to respect him if he jabs his way to the 10th round then pushes Haye over with a right hand. If Wlad continues to be boring i'm going to continue slating him.

If he wins and he is exciting then sure I'll respect him and like him as a fighter, but I can't like him as a fighter if he fights the way he usually does.

You're hilarious. After months of calling Haye a fraud, a joke, a bum, etc. you create a thread asking we we'd respect Wlad for KO'ing him. Get a ****ing grip.

Will people say it was only because of his size (Wlad is really no taller than Lewis, according to his website he's 6'5", and Wlad has a shorter reach than Lennox, 81" to Lennox's 84")?

Or will the Haye fans be fair to Wlad?
Most people respect Wladimir, it's not about that, it's just that he's NOT EXCITING! He manages to be the best in a weak division, if he beats Haye he will prove Haye doesn't have any business in HW. That's won't change anything as far as him being a better boxer, he's not. Jab jab grab is not good enough, it just isn't. The amount of ppvs HW boxing has been having shows that.

Haye will become a boxing superstar if he KOs Wlad. People like Atlas, Raskin, Rosenthal etc. will praise him to the highest.

They'll start saying how great the heavyweight division is!!

Why are you describling Holyfield like he had just come up from Cruiser. He was an ATG Heavy but this time already. He was a fully fledged HW and had beated a lot of good fighters.

Holyfield is better than any of Wlads wins.....

Awesome. Just felt you should compare Wlad's size to Haye.... being that is who he is fighting...

Height and reach are different than weight though Tunney.

Diego Corrales and Mike Tyson are both 5' 10".... so what does that really mean?

You can't overlook the fact that this is only Haye's 23rd PRO fight, and he was already stopped at Cruiserweight...

But regardless.. he was CW champion, so I give credit to whoever wins the fight. Haye is definitely better then Rachman, I'll tell you that much.

They'll start saying that the HW division is far more exciting. But that is true don't you think? Somebody who has a personality as the HW champion would be great for boxing.

As long as he doesn't cheat (with rabbit punches, etc) he'll get TONS of credit from me.

He will have beaten a great heavyweight.
