      Mayweather will not fight Mosley, Pacman I think has no interest fighting Sugar Shane, not that they were ducking him but Manny has nothing to gain beating Mosley, and Cotto already beat Mosley.

      best advice for Mosley is to retire on top, you've done your job and beating Margarito, Paul Williams has been calling him out and Mosley wants no part of the punisher, If Clottey looks good against Cotto, Mosley wont fight Clottey either.

        At last someone is saying something that I thought of for a while. Conditioning coaches and nutritionist are a waist of time and money for boxers.

            Its clear that Shane is focused on Manny, Pac-Man and Cotto......Cotto already beat him, the other two have no desire to fight him since he really won't bring the type of money that they are seeking........At this point, Shane needs to just move on......Paul Williams would sign to fight him tomorrow if Shane ever said ok.....Shane won't face Berto for the same reason that PBF & Pac-Man don't want to him no money!!!

            So Shane is really in stuck mode right now....Maybe he should beg his dear friend Dela Hoya to come out of retirement and fight him......Bottom line if he's not gonna fight Paul Williams he might as well retire!!!

                I think a boxer who has fought;

                a prime oscar 2x
                a prime vernon forrest 2x
                a prime winky wright 2x
                a prime margarito
                a prime cotto
                a prime collazo

                deserves a little leeway in picking a big money fight at age 38. Look at that resume, it puts Fraud jr's to shame. Shane already made his bones & has earned his place & stature in the game.

                He shouldnt have to be held accountable to fight Paul Williams to prove his worth for a mega fight.

                That's the main job description & fight criteria for the Andre Berto's of the boxing world. Not a first ballot hall of famer.

                  Nice post....you've documented Shane's impressive list of opponents quite well.....the only reason people are suggesting that Shane fight Williams, is because Shane cannot get the "big name" opponents to even look at him.....Whereas Williams has been calling Shane out for quite some time, and quite frankly, a Williams is probably the next available willing "big name" opponent that would actually fight him......No one is saying that Shane needs to prove his worthiness for a "big" money fight by fighting Williams.........

                  Personally speaking I'd like to see Shane fight Williams or Berto to keep himself busy and not sit by waiting on something that may NEVER happen....Shane really doesn't have that many options.....

                    Options are very low for Shane would like to see him fight Williams but realsitically cant see it happening.

                      I think Shane can beat any of the welterweights. He has a trainer now that has taken him back to the basics.I give him a solid chance in beating Paul Williams.Williams would have to kill himself to make 147 and that would play right into Shane's hands. Its sad how these fighters pick and chose their opponents. If all these guys would just man up and fight each other,the results would make each man much richer than they are now and it would completely resurrect boxing. Do it for the love of your sport and do it for the love of your fans!!! There is no shame in losing to the best.
