Things that make you go: Hmmmmmm.

Nice, humble, polite, reserved Sugar Shane is, indeed, steeping out of the comfort zone. The only thing missing are the cuss words.

I get the feeling he's after the money too. Divorce can take a lot out of you.

Not that Jin doesn't deserve a part of it, she helped manage his career and did a pretty good job of it.

It would be great to have Shane and Floyd go at it for all times sake.

      Why not?

      It'll give boxing more life.

I'm flip flopping here but screw it.. Mosley's been getting shafted for way too long

His only option is Williams and that sucks, because that's most likely a one and done, and it's not anything near rewarding in pay as Floyd or Pac if he loses. Paul could cost him a bunch of money in a loss and have him right back where he was at the negotiating tables pre-Cotto.

If Shane wins, well.. he scares away the big money players and is stuck with tough fights that bring the usual payday at WW. I see nothing but negatives fighting P.Will.

This is the one time I'm all for a fighter giving a finger to the fan base and doing what they think is best for their situation. Shane doesn't owe anybody anything with his resume. Considering his options, the best thing for him is holding out for Pac, even if he has to get under 147. He most likely won't hit the jackpot, but it's good business.

I'd really like to see the fight, I doubt it'll happen though.

Shane should just fight the winner of Cotto/Clottey and get another
title then get Berto's overrated ass out of the Championship loop.

From the fan's point of view this is ideal, but his pockets have taken a hit. I don't mind if he has the "screw that" mentality in this case and chases Pac, Floyd first.

Just focus on WW SSM. Forget lil Pac. Winner of Cotto-Clottey will just have to suffice.

But what if he doesn't get them? Then what? He's better off
gettting 2.5Mil for a Cotto rematch or perhaps 3MIL for Clottey
and even more for Berto. He's partners with Oscar De La Hoya?
How much could he need the $? He can do so much with his status
especially in his position. He wants the glory.

Then go after Cotto/Clottey, etc. but not before. Let him try and get paid if he can.
