So explain why all Cotto could say was "I fights who my peoples tells me to fights"

Why couldn't he just say "I'd love to fight Floyd Mayweather"????????????

That's what everybody else does when asked about fighting a guy they REALLY wanted.

I said nothing about Floyd in the new thread, but if you think it justifies him ok.

Baldomir was a legit WW...the most legit one at the time..that includes Tony.

He beat Judah before Cotto did..and didn't have to go low to do it.
LOL, first of all, he didn't know Baldi was gonna beat Judah ahead of time, he beat Shotba, then he was offered a pile of money to fight top WW in Tony, he refused for his biggest pay day. All boxing world knows tony is a much riskier fight than Baldi......... now you sounding ******ed, sure you wanna go on?

At least Shotbay was ranked at 147

                  Where was Gomez ranked????????????????

Tony was NOT a top WW you leg-shaving maricon..

                  Baldomir is riskier than tony.

                  Carlos headbutts.

                  He elbows

He doesn't have to be set to punch

                  Has a better chin..

                  He can fire straight punches.

And he weighs more in the ring than Marge.

Baldomir with loaded gloves would be a bigger beast than Tony.

I enjoy watching PBF because of the perfection of HIS craft, but, I do not appreciate the way he goes about doing business, but that is the keyword, BUSINESS. That's the name of the game, and we all as fans and enthusiasts of the sport of boxing have to deal with.

Now, with that said, PBF clearly stated that although Mosley is a legitimate WW, he lost his chance to fight PBF, and now at the stage that Mosley is at, does not warrant him a chance to fight Mosley.

Is this a legitimate reason? Or a blatant excuse and clear example of ducking someone for the sake of money?

People will argue that because of the name PBF has made for himself, that it gives him the right to avoid fighters solely because of how much they appeal (draw), or in other words how much money they can generate. Personally, I see this as a huge excuse to avoid fighting a higher risk opponent, cupping that "0", and further accentuating his character, position, and name in boxing.

                    Floyd Money Mayweather Jr.
                    Mayweather has nothing but excuses.

At least Floyd can beat fighters that outweigh him by 15lbs.

                      Cotto can't do that.

                      Tony sure as hell can't.

                      Let's see Fanny Pac give-up 15lbs to another fighter..LOL

                      He'd get stomped.
