Julio Ceasar Chavez, Aaron Pryor, Henry Armstrong, Joe Frazier, Ruben Olivares, Duran, Harry Greb....I believe pressure fighters are one of the main reason's I love boxing. There is no way there will ever be a shortage of pressure fighters or will pressure fighters ever be non-existent.

WTF do people mean by this....a tough pressure fighter who can take shot and keep coming is always going to hassle people, his days at the top might be numbered but he can still get to the top....
You are mistaken if you think of pressure fighter and you think of Carlos Baldomir...Magarito and El Perro....These guys are for the most part slow slower and slowest of fist. You can be a pressure fighter and have fast hands and fast feet. You don;t have to walk forward in a straight line thorwing wild looping shots to be a pressure fighter. Look at Tyson he was a pressure fighter in his prime and his hands had speed of light quickness. He cut off the ring and bounced and dodged his way in. PACMAN is a pressure fighter with deadly fast and accurate punches. The pressure fighters you are thinking off and the ones i have mentioned are completely different animals....Lefty

Makes no sense. There's always gonna be work horses who always come forward.

There is a difference between regular old pressure and smart pressure. If you're just trying to not let your opposition get a rest and that's all then you're looking to gas out and get KO'd late in the fight. If you're setting up traps and making your opponent make all the wrong moves applying intelligent pressure you have the upper hand.

Fighting in fights seems to be less popular and also fighting adequate opposition now thats going the way of the dodo.

Hmm. Adamek is considered to be one of the best fighters out there, so is Johnson. So, I dont know.
Just retired Calzaghe was a top 5 p4p as well.
