Pacquio -Berto for the WBC belt

    Forget all these catchweights,that's manipulation.
If Pacquio is man enough to face champions without starving them would he beat Berto at 147?

Yep **** catchweights. Floyd should fight the lightweight champ at the 135 limit or grow balls and fight full-fledged welters.

The lightweight shouldnt have calle Floyd if he couldnt go to 147.If you call a bigger man dont compain about loss of power.Leave the welterweights to fight themselves.

I agree, he had no business calling the man out. Now it is his bed and he has to sleep in it. Still JMM will get paid handsomely for his bravery and besides, it brought Mayweather out of retirement at a pretty good time where there are plenty of things Floyd can do and try to accomplish and cement his legacy even further.

Pacquiao would beat Berto at any weight IMO.

Pacquiao would probably stop Berto to be totally honest...

                  Lol... Wow.

Berto would do much better than people think.

We are over-estimating Manny's competence against larger opponents. Guys like DLH don't really help put the size differential into perspective, since it wasn't too competitive. Berto is a fully functional welterweight. A strong one. He wouldn't be a pushover like so many in this thread are insinuating. Even if Pac did win, it wouldn't come easy.

And Pacquaio has a higher chance of getting hurt against Berto than Berto does against Pac.

Same deal with Pac. Last I checked it was Mosley and Cotto calling out the jr. welter champ. If you call a smaller man don't complain about having to move down.

I have no problems with Pac fighting Floyd at 147 since, as many have pointed out, he doesn't really put on too much weight. Mosley and Cotto are different though. They will come in at 160 at fight time which is a tremendous disadvantage for Pac. Pac came in at 147 in his last fight and weighed in at 138, 2 lbs below jr. welter limit.

Pac should just fight jr. welters, but Cotto and Mosley are big money fights. Can't say I blame anyone for wanting the big money fights.
