"generally holding hasn't been a problem with Berto"Have you seen any of Berto's last 3 fights, during the Stevie Forbes fight he was holding the whole second half, against Collazo he was docked a point and should have been dq'd,he held ALL fight against Collazo, last night was just as bad. These are fighters theyre bringing up from lower divisions in Urango and Stevie Forbes.Even Collazo who is a very small welter with little power had him holding on ALL FIGHT.The guy is ajoke ,he was very close to being ko'd in the ameteurs with head gear and 14 oz gloves and against Cosme Rivera(who Zab starched in 3,Angulo in 5)who was NEVER known as a puncher, he got dropped HARD.Since then its been hit, then hold, then decide to let go hit again real quick and hold, ALL FIGHT!!This guy is a JOKE among the welterweights.I'll never forget when Berto made a comment last year that he was ONE on the best Welters,Paul Williams said lets get it on.The excuses that came out of team Berto were Hilarious"Williams is too big and shouldn't be ALLOWED to fight in this division""Berto's too young"(that one is getting a little old, like Berto)"Theres no money".The truth is Berto couldn't hold Williams and if Berto can't hold you ALL fight then you have a good chance to land a punch on THAT G****FRUIT Berto calls a chin.He actually won "Easiest title run of the last decade"by a KNOWN BOXING SITE.In a division stacked with talent where everyone fights everyone we have to see the fighter with the MOST PRESTIGEST belt the wbc ,continuaaly search the bottom of not only this division but lighter ones, its getting truly pathetic.I hear next its the guy Jesse "frakin feleciano"knocked out, Delvin Rodriquez.Berto just give back the belt ,because you OBVIOUSLY shouldn't have it,there are BETTER fighters who would ACTUALLY FIGHT OTHER GOOD FIGHTERS IN ENTERTAINING FIGHTS.Not hit and hold junior welters all night getting boo'd enroute to a DISGRACEFULL,BORING DECISION.HBO PLEASE DROP THIS KID ,HE IS PAINFULL TO WATCH!!

I loved Cintron's performance until about round 8, then he got on his bike, wouldn't sit on his punches and looked dead tired and desperate to hold.

I wish he would have put the pedal down and tried to finish Angulo when he had him hurt.

I was impressed with Cintron, I knew he was going to win. I had that feeling that he still can be a major player in this game.

I tried to bet, but was told I hadn't enough in the the e-bank...I would really like a trilogy with Margarito to happen. I think he should/would fight him. Margarito really won't have much options except tomato cans. Here's hoping it happens.

As for Berto, still unimpressed. Shane Mosely should have taken that strap from him this weekend and just add to it. Shame really, Berto will lose soon enough

Berto is fast but doesn't have devastating power. Didn't enjoy his fight at all, he was holding to much when with his speed and balance could had made it a more entertaining fight. I don't think he made a case for himself as one of the top welters. A fight against Quintana or Judah should point him in the right direction. A Paul Williams fight would be a statement

crold is right that urango didn't get hbo support for the bodywork that urango did, but urango did not do enough of it to win him any rounds.

You all want to see if Berto is ready???.....

Berto vs Margarito would be a great way... Berto would make more money than he is used to.. and we would get to see him in the ring with someone who fought Cotto, Williams, Mosley, Clottey. Margarito would also have a chance (that he doesn't necessarily deserve) to stay active in the sport against a live opponent. We would find out much about both fighters after this one. Berto would rise or fall and so would Tony.

Another interesting matchup I like would be Berto vs Victor Ortiz... I think it would be a good battle of two young warriors. It might be to early for both fighters but who cares. Its like Dan Rafael said... "he's already 25, WBC champ, undefeated professionally with 200 amateur fights under his belt... he is what he is"

Boxing would be great if I were the matchmaker.
