Guys I've been in many business negotations and this is business negotation 101. You ask for WAAAAYYYYY more than even you think you deserve knowing damm well your gonna end up negotating on it (Arum asking for 65% of the pie) in the end someone one will get 55% and if you ask me (and my opinion is extremely unbiased because I wanna see both of these guys lose) Mayweather should end up with 55% of the pie simply because he could sell the fight wayyyyyy better than Pac and Arum combined. Just watch his interview with ESPN and Brian Kenny...............that interview alone sells more PPV in the "casual boxing fan" category

Maybe in streetfights, yes. Do you have any source that it has been done before in big-time boxing?

I could've sworn Freddie said Manny is the one who gets to decide.

The biggest payday for both fighters and everyone else, and Arum is telling Floyd to take a hike?

Someone needs to tell Manny that promoting himself is where it's at.
Arum needs to take a hike.

Let Manny and his manager work out a deal that's best for both.

Even if it's not 60/40, he still won't have give up a promoter's cut.

Self promotion is where it's at, Manny.

Take a hint from DLH, Bernard, Shane, and Floyd.

They shouldnt pay Michael Caine the same ammount as Christian Bale because he was in Batman. I came to see Batman not Alfred.

You are so right. Manny can get to keep much more if he promotes himself.

But Manny is probably loyal to Arum so that's going to take a long while.

both fighters would be idiots too let this fight not happen because of ego especially mayweather since there has been rumors that he is close to broke, i dont quite believe it but who knows. even if u only get 40% that fighter in this fight will probably make more than $15 million minimum. if the fight happens the fans will be happy and the fighters will be rewarded tremendously. Win/Win for everyone!

Was ever Stan involved in big-time(mega) boxing? Where so many people and contracts are involved?
