LOL @ people becoming athletic commision officials overnight

Funny how all of a sudden, people (I'm looking at you Cotto-stans) became state athletic commission officials and plaster experts overnight. "Oooh plaster takes a couple of rounds to harden..." blahzay blahzay ...The truth is, NO ONE here will EVER know what the fuck happened on July 26, 2008. ****, I question it myself but I won't claim foul play because there is no evidence that suggests that Cotto got plastered. He got his ass kicked, plain and simple. You can speculate all you want but it won't change anything because this is BoxingScene after all and unfortunately, your opinion doesn't matter.

Margarito got caught red-handed no doubt and now he is paying the price. Cotto since then has won another title. Can we please move the fuck on??

Yea, I have never accused Margarito of cheating before the Mosley fight. But imo all his wins are tainted now, he was meant to be catching Mosley on the slide of his career right? He was caught with plaster because Richardson knew what he was looking for.

My honest opinion is if he intended to use plaster against a guy he was expected to win against who was getting "old" and looked bad against Mayorga. Why would he not use it against Cotto who was going to be the biggest fight of his life and if he lost against him It would be a losses (almost) back to back to Williams and Cotto and he would fade from big money fights forever.

I don't know if he used it against Williams or Cintron, but the Cotto win definately has to be looked upon as su****ious.

Regardless of anyone's opinion, the fight has a huge black cloud over it. Watch how many times the fight is mentioned on TV and doesn't include the su****ion of Margarito cheating.

I can see where many of Cotto's fans would be livid about it, just like fans of Floyd, Mosley, Pacquiao, or any other big name being involved in the same situation would react the same. I don't think anyone trying to be an "Official" like you say, but they have to right to be curious like 99% of the Boxing world still almost a year later.

Why just Cotto? Because he got his ass beat badly?

Go watch Margarito vs Lujan Sebastian. He was practically tearing his ear off. So its not like Malignaggi was destroying someone's face out of the blue. Its a man who is basically known to brutally beat people down. So Cotto's beating is expected, specially when you dont block and just eat shots.

Hey, what Nevada does, is their business. I ain't gonna try to tell them how to run things, that's why I live in California and run the CSAC

No, It has nothing to do with the state of his face. I didn't say he cheated either but it's always going to have that question mark. It's because he was caught in the Mosley fight NO two ways about it. Either he or his trainer or both went in with the intent to cheat.

If there was another fight he cheated for, it would be the Cotto fight. BECAUSE if he lost, he's off the championship level. Losing to Williams and Cotto with Cintron/Johnson in the middle. Not good. Cotto was a crossroads fight for him if he lost he would have to rebuild himself AGAIN. Now IF he tried to cheat against Mosley a past prime guy he was meant to beat easily (according to the betting odds and most boxing experts) why wouldnt he cheat against someone who was meant to be the harder fight (cotto) and just beat Mosley?

I have seen the Lujan fight btw, yeah he got beat up pretty bad. He will always have the question mark over his career but personally that win will have the biggest question mark.
