Margarito was mediocre even with plaster wraps. Any good fighter would have still schooled him, just like Paul Williams did. Just because he cheated doesn't mean losing to him is OK all of a sudden.

Floyd's family has been around boxing for a long time & Floyd could probably smell the cheater on that overrated Mexican hype job Margarito. Floyd went on to fight the linear WW champ Baldomir. Who was true champion & leaves behind a much better legacy than Margarito.

But these are facts..

Margo>Cintron wraps or no wraps

Margarito was hitting Cotto all night and taking bombs to his face all night to, Complete opposite of the Shane/Margo fight. Shane wasn't getting hit at all really and he hit Margo to the BODY and hard as well as the head. Cotto was tiring from backing off and fending of Margo all night, it was a terrible fight by him. I personally think with Paris or none Margarito beats Cotto if Cotto uses that gameplan 10 x out of 10.

That was a tough fight with the punisher, and had Margarito been a stronger starter, and started off the way he finished towards the later rounds; I think he wins that fight on razor thin decision. I think it's only natural to accuse him of wrong doing, even if there is no prove that he actually cheated. I think it's in the back of ever bodies minds that he could have cheated, but unless proven, you have to give him credit for those wins. Besides that's along time to go without someone picking up on his wraps, if indeed he was cheating up to the Mosely fight. I just don't buy that he cheated all those fights, not when those wraps are inspected by a member of the boxing commission and a member of the other sides team. I mean god damn someone besides Mosley trainer would have pick up on it. I mean other wise what the hell is the point of having someone there to inspect the wraps in the first place?




As for Cintron: Anyone who seen those fights knows Margarito Dominated both those fights. He didn't need no damn loaded wraps -- not with all the combinations that he was lighten him up with (in both fights).




As for Miguel Cotto: He fought a perfect fight, and it still wasn't good enough. He threw his best at Margarito, and just ran out of gas....plain and simple. In the later rounds Margarito did exactly what Cotto did to him in the beginning, he beat the hell out of him. Cotto just couldn't take the pressure cooker that Margarito was hammering him with in the later rounds.






As for the Mosely fight: He just got beat by a better fighter that night. Shane had everything working for him that night, slipping in and out and hitting him with all kinds of different combinations high and low. Sugar Shane was awesome! That's the best I've seen him look in awhile. Plus he was able to stay strong all through the fight, never tiring. Where Cotto failed he succeed.

Tell me which fight Margarito ever cheated in? None whatsoever. If you can't distinguish attempting to cheat and proven to have cheated then you need to get your head checked. Kellerman and Cotto's fans need to stop acting like their su****ion is a fact that came down from heaven.

Saying Margo>Cintron wraps or no wraps is one of the ******est things I've ever heard. Getting hit with those things is an absolute game-changer and all you guys who want to minimize the effect it must have on the other fighter either aren't thinking clearly or are blinded by man-love for Marg.
I absolutely loved the guy after the Cotto fight. He seemed like an old-school, blood-and-guts type warrior. Now, I just think the guy is a scumbag plain and simple.

You're right. Nobody knows for sure if he cheated before the Mosley fight, but, for ****s sake, don't you kind of have to assume he did? Especially when you look at how the Cotto fight went and you look at the way Cintron reacted to his punches. Seems naive to take that point-of-view.
