    Manny's next opponent: Andre Berto @ 147

Berto just dominated Juan Urango who is a small Welter, a southpaw and a big puncher. Yeah, Manny is much faster than Urango, but Berto is just as fast if not faster than Manny. HBO is saying that his team is looking for the big fight next. I think they're setting him up for and are going to try to secure a fight with Manny Pacquiao next.

It would be a great opportunity for Manny to add to his legacy by picking up another championship in another weight class against a now hyped up Welterweight Champion in Berto (thanks to Max).

I see the fight as a decent PPV with Manny getting what he wants during the negotiations and a good preparation fight for Floyd Mayweather. It's a dangerous fight for Manny, but look at the possible gains:

    A decent PPV payday

    A Championship in a 7th weight division

Great way to prepare and hype up a Super Fight with Floyd Mayweather

You're joking right, you had me rolling on the floor almost choked to death from laughing so hard.

Anyway, after seeing tonight's performance by Berto, I feel good about PAC's chances against Bum Berto.

No Berto for Pac. Berto's a nobody !!! He'll lose to the next top fighter he'll meet.

Then it would be a perfect stay busy fight for Manny while adding to his already stellar legacy and helping him prepare for Floyd.

That's not a good match-up because Berto would KO Pac and then the "Dream Match" between Floyd and Pac will never happen.

If Pac would risk fighting Berto, then he might as well fight Mosley (older fighter), a mega fight. Then he would earn a major title and the ring. The Pac Team is not that dum.

Mosley is a bigger Welter, harder puncher and Pac and Freddie will not fight him at full Welter. I think they'd fight Berto at full Welter earning him the possibility of that 7th weight division championship.

Berto is pretty damn fast and at full Welter, I think he matches Manny in the speed department, sorry.
