Gains SOME of my respect. He finally didn't totally lose it in a fight but it still looks like he wouldn't have made it if there was 1 more round. He lacks confidence in looks like from the opening bell which is crazy because the power he possesses. I think the Margarito fight really ruined him and he hasn't that the same confidence since. -
He showed heart and any person who is a fighter has my respect, but I still dont like him.Comment

i will say, i was surprised a bit on how he held up with the pressure and the fact that angulo wasn't even deterred by his punches.
i was impressed how he handled everything, but then again, i would like to see him fight angulo again only with a healthy angulo with no issues during camp or what not. i'm not using that as an excuse for angulo, but it is a fact and i would like to see them fight again.

Cintron's big flaw has been his need to set in his power right. He had the chance to go for the KO but could not set in time. Angulo looked very very slow and was missing shots, others got blocked. Cintron actually looked like a boxer for the first time ever. I was in shock for a while there.
Then again, Angulo coming ONLY straight and being slow helped Cintron's case for a decent boxer. None of them got what it takes to dominate the division. After the fight was done, I could tell that I enjoyed a good fight.
I want to see him fight Santos.
