Sure, but then again Wlad has gotten up from all 11 or so knockdowns to beat the count himself. The Mormeck fight was pretty decent, but then M had only been fighting once a year or so for quite some time and was starting to fade, and his endurance was never that great to begin with.
Exactly..............I think allot of guys are lost on that fact. They think that just because he's been TKO'd 3 times makes him some kind of weak chin android. Wlad has gotten up from all of his knockdowns , while never getting sparked out. Not allot of heavyweights can say that. Not even Lennox Lewis.
for anyone who thinks haye doesn't stand a chance...sanders was 224lbs & davaryl williamson was 218.both those guys floored wlad.
Wlad was a different fighter back then, he hadn't learnt how to fight tall, and he took a lot more risks than he does now. Haye has an outside chance but not based on those fights. If he trains for that version of Wlad, he'll get jabbed to death and then knocked out. But he's intelligent enough to know that and is not training for that version of Wlad. His game plan is going to be to slip and parry the jab and counter, and to focus on the body until Wlad brings his hands down. He knows he won't be able to do a Sanders on him, and any fans who don't know that just don't understand boxing.
