Fight night weight is the weight the fighter actually fights at.

For example. Pacman weigh in at 130. When he fought JMM at 130 his fighting weight at the time of the fight was 145.

When Floyd Mayweather fought Judah, he weigh in at 146. At the time of the fight, Mayweather weight was still 146.

Pacman and Floyd are the exact same size. The difference is Mayweather doesn't drain himself to make weight

then why the hell it isnt made into a rule by the powers that be in boxing?

no.. fight night weight is the amount of weight a fighter had enough time to rehydrate to.
It really means nothing when it comes to size as some fighters may be smaller but have a lot of body fat.. does it mean that if there is a 5'4'' fat man who is 250 pounds that he is the same size as Wladimir Klitschko?
you have to put into account a persons frame when it comes to size imo.. Mayweather is closer in size to Cotto then he is to both of these two 135ers.

Boxing is a sport based on weight NOT height. If that short fat man was 250, he would have to fight at HW. Doesn't matter if he was fat. It's his weight. James Toney is a HW because he weighs the HW limit

Mayweather is closer to Pacman than he is to Cotto

he is too small..did u see how big Juan Diaz looked against him? Malcom can't say that if Mayweather fought Diaz he would look as small as Marquez did.
