Before he fought Pacquiao, many people thought that Ricky Hatton's destruction of Paulie Malinaggi was his most impressive performance since the Tsu fight.


Before Oscar fought Pacquiao, he felt better than he did in years, this coming straight from the horse's mouth.


Its easy to say in hindsight that age was the primary reason for their performance, but in the wake of his destruction of both fighters, does anyone stop to realize that a performance like that could just make you look old ?

I believe Floyd faced the better versions of both but Manny blew out both which is the most that can be expected of him. Now Floyd is looking to upstage Pac by beating JMM but it won't answer the question who is better. A fight will.

Styles make fights, so I'm not going to hold either one of them any higher than the other for defeating De La Hoya and Hatton. They both beat both men.

Pacquaio's resume is far more impressive, however, and he has always faced the best within his weight class. That's why his 49-3 is better than Mayweather's 39-0.

Unless Mayweather delivers an ubelievably impressive victory over Marquez, and it's obvious he hasn't lost anything, Pac is the current #1 p4p fighter in the world.
