He fought Carlos Baldomir because Baldomir was the ring magazine champion at 147, (which means he was the best at 147 -- not Margarito, not Mosley and not Cotto). Before Margarito, Judah was the ring champion at 147, and Mayweather beat him to. He fought Jose Luis Castille at 135 because Castille was the ring magazine champion at 135 (which means he was the best at that weight, regardless of the number of losses). Incidentally, the fights against Castille were the only two fights he had at 135, after moving up from 130. He fought Arturo Gatti because he wanted a big payday and Kostya Tyszu chose to fight Hatton instead. He fought Oscar for the same reason that Manny Pacquaio fought Oscar -- for the money.

He hasn't and he doesn't because he let Oscar come in at 154. They are creating catchweights because that's a dirty way of trying to make someone look better then they are. Im not a Floyd fan but the fact is he is still undefeated and simply retired on top. He does have a case. Just as Paul Williams does, who is simply avoided by everyone. Pacquiao is great, but the fact is these last fights were perfectly picked. If he wins against PBF, Cotto Mosley then there is no argument.

Floyd fought Baldomir because Baldomir beat Judah for the WBC welterweight title, if you really watched boxing and stop being so ignorant you would have remembered that Floyd never wanted to fight Baldomir.
