Best way to beat someone as skilled as Mayweather

I personally think its to get him out of their before he starts getting his defensive rhythm going and I know that is harder to do than to say. I think someone has to take chances and try to get him out of their in the first round even if they end up spending all their energy and getting knocked out themselves.

Pressure fighter, southpaw, somebody that could really show that effective aggressiveness.

Do you think its a ****** game-plan to try and get him out of the first round? I feel that defensive fighters are scary fighters and the longer you let them last the better chance they have to be the one with their hands raised at the end of the fight.

It depends on your own style and attributes.

What about Pacquiao, is he capable of outboxing floyd? Or should he try to get Floyd out of their quickly like he did to Hatton? Freddie Roach says that he can see Manny winning by decision... So I don't think Freddie thinks Pacquiao is capable of doing it.

I think jumping on him the first round may not be such a bad idea, although I doubt anyone is getting him out in one round. A fighter like Zab was a great example, he had enough speed and explosiveness to catch Floyd. The only fighter I think that possesses that in the WW division is Berto, not so much Shane any more. Berto can keep up that pace all night with a fighter like Mayweather who is less likely to bother exchanging.

So stylistically you think Berto is a bad match-up for Floyd and could make Floyd look like a fool?

No, I never said he could make Mayweather look like a fool. But at this point in their careers Berto could give Mayweather some trouble with his speed and fairly aggressive style.

yea it is a ****** game-plan but dont take offence your just ******

fight exclusively to the body for the first 6 rounds and then move to the head with lead right, that's the best chance you've got

obviously the opponent matters, things like speed, power all play a part
