i understand. i understand both sides really. i know why pac's people would want a catchweight. i also understand how it'd be bad for mosley. we'll just have to see what happens in negotiations.

the pac-cott/mosley-may fights is my theory and hopefully it'll happen.

cotto and may would be favored but pac and shane would be very live dogs.

I think theres a good chance ur theory is right. Oh yeah man none of these fights will be easy, i can easily picture Pac Buzzing Miguel with a right hook then blasting him to **** or Mosleys hand speed and power being to much for Mayweather. I just think as good as Mosley still is, his legs might not be as good as the rest of him and u need good legs to keep up with Floyd, Shane gets tagged more these days to (Marg is a slug he dont count!)

I think if he really wants to fight these guys he should move up and if he dont feel he is big enough just stay put and fight guys more ur own size

i hope it does happen the way i think it will.

it'd be damn good fights and win-win for everyone involved (both promoters and all 4 fighters)

if cotto and mayweather win , we get to see cotto-mayweather finally.

if pacquiao and mayweather win , we get to see the superfight and cotto and mosley will rematch since they'll both need a big win after the loss.

if pacquiao and mosley wins , it'll be #1 147 fighter vs. #1 140 fighter and we might still be able to see cotto-mayweather since both will be looking for a good win.

if cotto and mosley wins , we get to see a rematch for THE RING 147 belt and will probably still see pacquiao-mayweather happen or pacquiao marquez 3.

Pac either fights Mosely at 147lb or not at all. I have absolutley no interest whatsoever in seeing a weight ravaged Mosely stepping into the ring to face Pac. Like many have said, if Pac is too small to face him or Cotto etc then fair enough, but there is no glory in beating these guy's if there so badly handicapped. Sure, it's more money in the bank (assuming his ''advisors'' don't rob him to bad) but like I said before there is no glory in victory.

Miguel angel has mosley's number so I don't think mosley wants to fight cotto. Sugar wants to make money now which is the reason he's willing to go down to 142. If cotto gets by joshua, I think team pacquiao will go after him before going for money may.

When Paul Williams beat Antonio Margarito he made a point to call out Cotto and Mayweather in the post-fight interview afterwards. Your boyfriend Floyd has said in the past, "Who is Paul Williams?"

I don't recall Cotto stepping up to Williams.

Mosley sounds so desperate beggin Floyd and Manny for a fight...If he can't set up the Manny fight he should tell Cotto that if he beats Clottey he needs to make a rematch to confirm who the Welter champ is.

Did I say he ever did? My point is that the Floyd fans on this thread are tearing down Shane Mosley for not fighting Paul Williams when we know that hell will freeze over before your boy Floyd will ever fight him.

Isnt it better to have 2 fights even though they dont pay as much rather than waiting for a big fight that never comes.Mosley could fight Berto or another WW,keeping him busy and earning some money.The way it looks at the moment he's the last option.If Floyd cant get Manny then he will go for Mosley.If Manny cant get Floyd he will go for Cotto.

Let's not forgert Floyd is the WBC emeritus champion so he could actually decide to go for Berto or Urango next,get a belt and still make over $15m
