The only thing I fear is whether the thread starter is a teenager. If he is, he needs to think things though better, because naive doesn't come close.

Calzaghe for the past few years couldn't kill Khan, let alone Jones. One says kill because also it's a wild exageration, it doesn't happen too much esp at this level. Jones was being mellow dramatic and some people will buy it. Next thing we'll hear Lacy may kill him. He's got more chance of meeting a deadly spider.

His nightmares actually began after getting put down and out by Antonio Tarver.

From then on, all thoughts about ending up like McClellan kept surfacing even stronger.

To his credit, he can say he knocked Joe down in their bout.

So can Byron Mitchell and Salem. Doesn't mean much if you can't keep your opponent down. Waits for the wise cracks that Calzaghes fights were stopped prematurely.

            Who cares about the knockdown?

Unlike Roy, Calzaghe has a big heart and always gets up and comes back to dominate and win.

Calzaghe dominated and humiliated Roy Jones

            11-1 on all 3 scorecards

Unlike Calzaghe Roy took risks in his career and acomplished great things, moving up for Toney, moving up to Heavyweight. Thats why he always will be remebered as the greater fighter and people will take about him long after joe is forgotten.

To Calzghe's credit he got back up to finish strong.

True. But it would have been a whole other story if they fought in their primes just by watching that knock down. What if Hopkins were in his prime?

Besides, neither Joe nor his fans can claim he Knocked Roy or Bernard out.

                    I'm just sayin'.
