Zarco, I think you missed the point. I think he meant "star", not just in terms of fighter but of attraction. JMM is the best Mexican but sadly he is probably last on the list in terms of stardom. Fortunatly, I think he will be alot more popluar after being focused on during the 24/7 show, also after the mainstream hears about how much trouble he gave Pac, and he will definatly be a star if he wins or even comes close to Floyd

Co-Sign, JMM is a badassmadapacka, but he's not a star in terms of generating revenue, ppv's etc, i wish he was and he has a great chance to with his upcoming fight. If he makes it a competive fight, then i think he's going to be thrown into the spotlight for sure....
if he gets KO'd early or is thoroughly beaten over 12, then probably not.....

He had a good showing in his last couple fights and with the last 2 fights he made his name even bigger, trust me Mexicans are behind marquez 100%. He would sell out the staples stadium just like margarito did.
