Underdog against a smaller man who fought at that weight once, even though Hop fought there 40 plus times....

Hop pickin on poor little Tito...

The only reason hop was a dog is because people didn't know who he was.

Well that's also my example for when people talk about the quality of most of Hopkins' MW defenses. Except for Tito and DLH, much smaller men, not much different that Calzaghe's defenses, really.

Most people, including myself, think the Trinadad victory was his best...But when he beat De la Hoya that really put his name on the top of the list... Like BHOP said "I kicked the door off the henges when I beat de la hoya"

              tarver.

jumped 2 weight divisions and beat light heavy champ, winning every round.

                Felix Sturm should've said that.

He softened up DLH for that.

Hop just feasted on Sturm's leftovers.

                Everyone knows it.

Besides Winky and B-Hop, who else would have beaten prime Tito at 160?

I've always seriously questioned that "fall" of De la hoya's in that fight...It just looked so staged..But regardless of sturm and the questionable ko of oscar, Hopkins still technically beat him and it did make him the new king.
