I am pretty sure not long ago he said Mayweather would be his hardest fight and said that "even if you beat him, you don't look good doing it" (something along those lines). Now he is saying he is the easiest test?
Not saying Pacquiao will beat Floyd, but there is a good chance that Floyd would be the easiest fight of the 3... that doesn't mean Cotto or Mosley are better, but the thing is that Floyd weighs the same as Pacquiao on fight night when Cotto and Mosley weigh more... which is a good argument.
We all know Oscar was weight drained... he hadn't made the weight in many years and even he knows that, Manny outweighed him on fight night. The Hatton win was more convincing, however I think this was due to the clash of styles... anyone with eyes can see that Mayweather is more defensive, Pacquiao more offensive... when Hatton came forward... Floyd stayed on the back foot, when Hatton tried to brawl with a brawler in Pacquiao, that is faster than him, he was ripped apart.Last edited by Spacey1991; 05-28-2009, 03:44 PM.Comment

The statement doesn't claim for them to be better than Mayweather... he said it is the easiest fight, doesn't mean Pacquiao would win. Not long ago Freddy said Floyd would be his hardest test... but you will just ignore that.
The reason Mosley and Cotto are harder fights is because there a lot bigger... on fight night Floyd would weigh 148 (unless his body has changed through lay-off), and Pacquiao will weigh 148... Cotto and Mosley will weigh 155+... you understand?
Doesn't mean there better fighters, doesn't mean they will beat them... just the styles match up like that.
I aint saying Pacquiao, Cotto or Mosley can't beat Mayweather, of course they have a chance... there great fighters, but you can't suddenly assume that they all beat him by using that logic.
If Pacquiao tries to brawl with Cotto or Mosley, who are much bigger than him... there is a bigger chance of him being KO'd basically because they would out weigh him by 10 pounds-ish, because Cotto and Mosley are also aggressive fighters.
Against Mayweather, a fighter who isn't as aggressive... he wont be outweighed as much... and there would be a bigger chance that Floyd just tried to counter punch, pick him off, and attempt to outbox him... like in the Marquez fight.Comment

Cotto isn't harder than Mayweather. There isn't a huge amount of difference in size, May has more reach doesn't he, and Cotto isn't much of a bulleye.
Mosley probably is too big for him though, and dangerous with that speed still.Comment

Roac has to talk trash for Pac. I think we will see some out of character stuff from both Roach and Pac if this fight comes together.Comment
