Joshua Clottey is Ready For Any Version of Miguel Cotto

I can't see Clottey beating Cotto. Cotto should win by UD. I'm taking bets if anyone is interested.

Look this is Cotto's coming out party, he's done a complete 360 and is right back where he was before getting robbed by Plaster point. He knows more than anybody this is it and if doesn't win this fight, it's over for him and all the speculation will begin. Cotto lost because of his uncle/Plaster/etc.etc.
Expect Cotto to try to do the same thing a fellow Puerto Rican (Juanma) fighter recently did and that's stop a fighter that's never been stopped before. Don't be surprised if Cotto wins by KTFO! For all the haters that want to say Cotto is overrated, all I have to say FU. Cotto has fought every fighter brought to him and has only lost 1 controversial fight and that's over rated?

Eventhough I'm not totally sold on Miguel Cotto, if you read
my posts I do give him a shot against Clottey but I just think
Clottey will pull it off and has more of my confidence. The thing
that never made me totally confidence in Cotto is the fact that
he has been hit a lot in his fights and though he has come back
in most of them I just think it is way too much leather he takes
and his defense is a lil leaky. He did some good head movement
in the Margarito fight and connected perfectly but Margarito was
always there and didn't give Cotto much of a problem from a
connecting stand point but Clottey is a defensive guy and has
the possibility to frustrate Cotto and Clottey takes a punch
very well. Margarito ****** on him and it still went to the
12. Cotto has very good power but it hasn't been shown to
be that great considering he hit Margarito with everything
but the kitchen sink and Margarito kept coming and jogging
to Cotto smiling. If Cotto wins it will be from him boxing
on the outside and just out pointing Clottey because he is
not going to get a KO in my opinion but will see when the fight
happens.

Well, it depends, I'm confident that Floyd would not be able to hurt
Clottey and would have to play it safe on the outside and out
point him. Clottey probably wouldn't be fast enough to pin Floyd to effectively stop his activity. Both guys are very defensive..........That
would be perhaps an incredibily boring and safe fight. Anyways we're
not talking about Floyd we're talking about Cotto/Clottey and in my opinion Cotto's activity will make Clottey fight more than usual because
aside from Cotto being a decent boxer he is very confrontational and
would rather engage than out box and used the ring like Floyd
because we already saw from the Margarito fight that Cotto doesn't
work the ring and fight backwards that well. Clottey/Cotto will
turn out to be a slug fest.

Indeed it's a shame all this happened, we witnessed one of the greater fights at Welterweight in my opinion and for all to have come down the way it did it's sad for both men. it was obvious that Cotto was the better boxer by miles that night but Tony wanted it more and was the better fighter. I give one big prop to Cotto and that is he always comes to fight and doesn't duck anyone.

VERY tough fight,

I don't like what's been going on with Cotto lately, all the changes in his life and distractions, BUT I think he's good enough of a boxers to outbox Clottey. If he can get in and fire away while Clottey's guard is up, then turn him, clottey won't be able to get off. also, Cotto has to be quicker with his jab. If he is in and out, he can win an easy decision. Zab was admirinig his work against Clottey and get beat up standing around.

I like Cotto but he better be on his A game, if odds were right, I'd take Clottey though.
