You guys dominate HW,CW and SMW only, technically since 1 American has 2 titles at MW we dominate MW and LMW is mixed, not only Europeans, LHW Joe retired and Dawson had to vacate 2 belts, so until someone beats Dawson he dominates LHW.

Hispanics come in all sizes and being athletic depends on your overall preparation and comitment, enyone from any ethnic group can be a good boxer even if it is not the typical sport of that culture. if we look into boxing on all levels and not just at the pros that have success and exposure you will find that there are my fighter of different sizes and even in the higher weight classes of hispanic descent, some times we assume that the success of a certain ethnic group in a sport is due to their numbers in the sport and that may be partially true but then all we have took at is the size in population of puerto rico and then that assumtion is less accurate.
also, the size of a person from a certain ethnic group is not always a good indicator of better nutrition, some one in this post suggested that mexico had bad nutrition and implied that the US americans are healthier for our eating practices but the fact is that U.S. americans are less healthy than many people from poor countries because of these eating habits.
we all generalize about a lot of things and the poster may see less hispanics in the highter weight classes because he maybe only considering successful fighters in his analysis.
if one explores the full demographics of :who practices boxing in a society, the history of hispanic generations, the history of the sport (past and present) then one can answer this question for oneself...

Because MOST of them are short, no offense. Same with most asians which is why they dominate the lower weight classes. It's the same reason that there aren't a HUGE amount of White and Black fighters below 135.

                      I'm 6ft 1.... oddly.
