pacquiao's legacy is secure. win or lose he's an all time great.
It is dumb to go into a negotiation with an offer of 50/50 if that is what you want though. It would be dumb for Manny to go in demanding 50/50, you have to give yourself some room to negotiate because if you go in asking for exactly what you want, you are likely to not get that (also if you start low you can't ask for more, but you can always scale back demands).

It is not an easy fight to make no doubt, but I doubt Floyd is going to be waiting on Manny (I am pretty sure Floyd would fight Mosley, if he can not get a Pacman fight for 2 reasons 1) he can make good money fighting Mosley also Sugar Shane does not really fight in a way that should worry Floyd 2) He would be cutting off one of Pacman's options).

Floyd also has a secure legacy, if they do not fight each other it would be a shame on both houses~.

anybody saying Pacquiao deserves more money than Floyd need to answer this question..

Who can make more money without the other?
and that answer will give who should get the bigger share.

Floyd does not need Pacquiao to make 15-20 Million...
But Pacquiao does need Floyd to make 15-20 Million..

So thats all you need to know when discussing who should get the bigger share..

Floyd does not need Pacquiao to make 15-20 Million as he is proving with JMM..

But Pacquaio can not make 15-20 without Floyd...and if so with who?

Why? All this talk is meaningless anyways, something said through the press is not what is really going on in someones head (especially in this situation where they are jockeying for position).

There is 0 reason for Floyd to act weak right now, he has to show a strong hand that is the best way to enter negotiations. If he showed weakness now what would it be like behind closed doors.

i'll tell you why. because pac will walk away from the table if floyd gets too unreasonable.

look at what pac did w/ the hatton fight. pac was gonna walk away from the hatton fight and the only reason why it went through was because pac's non-alcoholic friend agreed to drink a few beers w/ pac. does that sound like a guy that gives a ****??? pac aint like the rest of us, he doesn't gamble using logic.

pac has all the fame in the world. pac has more money than any pinoy. he can retire and become president of the phillipines. floyd needs to bend cause I KNOW pac will walk.

its either 50/50 or the fight ain't happening and floyd will have to retire AGAIN.

You guy talk like you are either pacman twin brother or Mayweather twin brother, How do you know that pacman would walk away from the negotation table if his demands are not met??

And how do you know that Mayweather's demand are going to be unreasonable???

Finally, You kept on mentioning how Mayweather would have to retire again, If he can make the reported $15m against JMM why would he need to retire if he can command that sort of amount against someone like JMM??

The only way I see Pac taking 40 is if the fight is held in Manila. That's what I hope anyways.

Arum is smarter than that though... he will know it is just negotiations and try to negotiate back towards making it 50/50.

Arum wants 60/40 just as much as Floyd... if Floyd goes in demanding 50/50 Arum will use the argument that he wants 60/40 to try and get more of the lions share... once Floyd says "I will go 50/50" if he does straight away he can't ask for more, that's what Gambler is saying.

They are both just demanding the lions share basically to find out how much they can get maximum, it will most likely end up being signed around 50/50 but they are just baiting each other to see how much they can get away with getting at maximum.

It is all just negotiations, you guys needn't to worry this fight will still most likely happen. It is very early days yet, he hasn't fought JMM yet and he has said he isn't over looking JMM cause he will be there to win, it is all just talk at the moment... if Floyd beats JMM, then there will be plenty of time for them to sort it out between them.
