i know what its called but we all know how floyd is. he wont settle for the low end & right now pacman is the bigger dog. floyd will have to accept that or fight shane or cotto where he can get the high end. like i said he might get as much as 65/35 against them but it aint gonna happen with pacman.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER: "I'D BEAT THE **** OUT OF MANNY PACQUIAO...AND HE KNOWS THAT!"
Q: What made you decide to fight Juan Manuel Marquez?
Floyd Mayweather Jr: "He's been one of the top fighters in the world for quite some time on every pound for pound list. It's the best going up against the best and it gets no bigger than that. It's the USA Vs. Mexico."
Q: What would you say to the people who thought you never had marketability now that you've made yourself a household name commanding $15M for your comeback fight?
Floyd Mayweather Jr: "Everybody knows that I never discuss what my purses are, but this fight is going to be a tremendous success and it's going to be great for the fans. To touch on your question, I have a great team, who has great vision and L stays on the grind taking me to that next level and the mainstream world. And that's great for the sport of boxing because it brings more eyes to the sport."
Q:Why do you think people give Pacquiao so much more credit than you when all he did was move up in weight and take care of your left-overs?
PBF: "Because there's always going to be a double standard when it comes to me. People gotta understand that I set the bar so high that none of these cats can keep up, so they have to make it up as they go. They know damn well that Pacquiao is a good fight, but beating De La Hoya and Hatton? Been there did that."
Q:What was the toughest fight you've had thus far?
PBF: "I would have to say Emmanuel Burton."
Q: What are Marquez's best atttributes as a fighter? Can you break down what you see him do in the ring?
PBF: "He's a highly skilled fighter, who is a great warrior with a lot of experience. He's got great pride in his country and I know he's coming prepared. I have the utmost respect for him and what he brings to the table."
Q: How many more years will you fight for?
PBF: "It depends. My sole focus is on July 18. I have a tremendous challenge in front of me and I am preparing 100% and expecting a great fight from Marquez and I ain't looking past him. The fans can truly expect the best of Floyd Mayweather fighting all of the top fighters in the world."
Q: What did you think of Pacquiao's performance against Hatton?
PBF: "A very, very, good performance. He's a very good fighter, but he could never beat me. Ricky Hatton never listened to my dad, if he had followed my dad it would have been different, but he never listened from the word go. If we ever fought, I'd beat the **** out of Manny Pacquiao! And he knows that."
Q: Who else would you like to fight besides Pacquiao and Marquez?
PBF: "The top fighters out there know who they are and I don't have to call their names. They're gunning for me. My sole focus is on Marquez. I refuse to overlook because he's a great fighter and I've been off for 18 months and I have to be at my best to beat him."
Q: Are you looking to sign any big name fighters to Mayweather Promotions?
PBF: "We're always looking to working with the best out there. It's like everything else, you have to take your time to come up with the best result. I have a great group of young guys I'm working with now, including Jesse Vargas who will be the future of boxing."
Q: Do you ever see you and your father working things out and your father and uncle working things out?
PBF: "I have a very good relationship with my dad, we talk and hang out every day. My father and uncle have the same kind of relationship."
Q: Do you think you'll get Pacquiao before the year is out?
PBF: "Like I said, my sole focus is on Marquez and Pacquiao don't want it. His promoter could say whatever he wants about Pacquiao being the draw, but he's out of his ****ing mind. Look at the PPV numbers for my last two fights. End of discussion."
Q: What made you decide to come back?
PBF: "This is for the fans. No matter where I went; the mall, church, hanging out with friends, everybody wanted me to come back. This is all about the fans and my sole objective is to come back and finish part II of the Mayweather experience and that's dominating all of the top fighters left to dominate from my era."
Q: Other than yourself, who do you think is the best pound for pound?
PBF: Juan Manuel Marquez. I saw him beat Pacquiao twice and his last two wins were great. I'm coming back to fight him because he's the best. Once I'm done with him Pacquiao and Mosley can get in line."Comment

LMAO if Arum won't give Mr boat buyer what he wants and this fight gets blown. It seems like Pac is down for whatever Arum and Roach allow him. But I'm sure it'll happen since the alternative would be Pac-Cotto if Cotto beats Clottey. That ain't a given, and Pac gets killed by Cotto anyway. I hope Arum ain't dumb enuf to do that one. Whatever comes outta this, Mr boat buyer better ****in fight the top guy at WW before he walks again.Comment

You can't blame Floyd for saying he wants 60/40, then not blame Arum for saying he is having 60/40, that would be unfair and double standards.
Anyway, less of this talk, he has to get through JMM first, I think he would win but I respect JMM too much to overlook him... lets wait for that fight to happen because until it has finished no negotiations will start.
In all honesty though, if Floyd beats JMM convincingly... I just wanna see the fight happen... and even though Boxing don't work like this or anything, somebody else made a great point in purse splits... it should go 40/40, and the winner of the fight gets the other 20%, if its a draw, both get 10%.Comment

The reason Arum has been talking so much is because that was a preemptive strike.Unfortunately negotiations arent done in the media.Everyone wants to fight Mayweather ,he has made more millionaires than anyone else.Everyone who fought Floyd got a career high earning.Manny knows this and unfortunately to Pacman huggers he will accept the offer from Floyd. There is no room for mind games Pacq is used to.Those silly things of disappearing off the map and switching off phones wont happen this time.
To massage Pacq 's ego Arum will claim to top up Manny's purse but the truth is thingsdont work that way.Arm is a businessmanComment

Are you being serious? 75%? He gets 52% against Hatton but you expect him to get 75% against Mayweather? Come on lets be right, 50/50 is fair...Comment

few key points from an interview on fighthype
floyd says "no way in hell paquiao is getting 50/50 it has to be 60/40 in his favor."
"he sold more ppv with brass boy & get hitman than pacman"
"he moving shane down on his hit list since he is being disrespectful"
"he made more money in his last to fights than shane made his whole career & shane shouldnt be talking bout money with him"
if this is the case we can kiss pacmn/floyd fight good bye.
if he moved shane down on the hit list & he aint settling for 60/40 & 50/50 against pacman, who will he fight next?
is this premature ducking excuses?
the interview is on fighthype i wish i could post the link but im posting from my phone & it cant do attachments.Comment
